Bondi Beach Terrorist Attack (5 Viewers)

Lets remember those hero's that day, the Bloke and his wife who first tried to disarm the Dad, murdered in cold blood! The brave Bloke who then tackled the dad and disarmed him, why he didn't shoot him I can only guess, shot twice! The plainclothes policeman who was able to get close enough for his revolver to be effective and take them down. The three Police officers wounded, one losing an eye! The Ambos and first responders. The many acts of bravery seen and yet to be heard by ordinary folk. All Australians and all hero's

Let's hope that changes in appropriate laws will allow more effective control over future potential crazies. There's also talk about a Royal Commission, but current Prime Minister is not keen on that idea.
Yes, with the mention of Royal Commissions without fail I think Yes Minster......:)

Yes mate, all were brave Aussies.

The problem is, the gunmen who went on this murderous rampage were also Australians.

No mate they might have lived here but they where not Australian or even citizen's.
That is not true
The younger one was born there and is a citizen
This is the issue
The French and Brits have the same experience
People born and brought up in those western countries but have an allegiance to some other place or belief system

I hope I am wrong, but with so many already there, as here in Europe, there will be more of these types of events.
Whether they be the lone bomber attack type, who at the Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena, murdered 22 concert goers and physically injured 239, physical and mental injuries, raises the total to 1,017, who are often forgotten in these attacks. A soft target full of little girls and their parents.
Then there's attacks like on the staff at Charlie Hedo, who killed 12 and injured another 11, because they drew cartoons that they considered mocked their prophet.
Expect at the least, many more of what Birmingham are calling , Hostile Vehicle Mitigation Bollards, since it seems no special license is needed to murderously drive into people as one did in Berlin Christmas market killing 12 and injuring 56, or another at Magdeburg Christmas market last year, killing 6 injuring 309, there are other examples.
Spending millions to erect these barriers, and changing laws, when a far simpler solution is to stop importation and repatriation of that one lot prone to doing this.
Sure some will say it would effect the innocent, but if they stopped these people in their own often described as tightly knit communities, as their imams often know what is happening and as we know, sometimes the instigators, then It would not be needed.
Anyway, enough from me on this subject.
