Steve, that does bring a sad reality into this discussion, both my sons know me as being the 'devils advocate' as I always try and see things from all sides, but there's no way to condone someone deliberately aiming numerous bullets into a child and similar 'soft' targets.Muslims always go on about wanting to be martyrs, but they so often go for targets that are defenceless, with little girls, women, people who can offer the least resistance their preferred ones.
In gangs and groups and that by the way is their strength as they always stand by each other in situations, where they come into contact with non muslims as they do in the ever growing muslim prison population, with so many of them being wrong un's.
As for some comments by other forum members, my Grandfather fought the Turks in Gallipoli, Egypt and the Palistine Line of Communications etc in WWI, and my Father was a Bomb Aimer/Navigator in a Pathfinder Lancaster bomber against the Nazis in WW2.
Despite their obvious personal conflicts with those 'enemies', did they continue or instil in their children a hatred against Muslims and Germans after those wars, clearly the answer is NO, as they were both intelligent humans that understood that even 'good people' can be made to do the 'wrong thing'.
