Bondi Beach Terrorist Attack (6 Viewers)

I doubt very much that any Australians consider Israel is on the same 'Terrorist' level as Muslims and we have seen on our TVs where Muslims shouted 'Gas the Jews' etc at recent national events. However as you may know, Israel has a history of 'aquiring' land from Muslims and untaking military action to retain it. My Grandfather served in the Middle East during WWI, including Military Policing of Aussie Soldiers and the 'Natives', he didn't see any Jews there, all the locals were Muslims/Arabs, or at least they were in the Vast Majority. Subsequently Muslims have tried to take their land back with military action but keep losing. What other choice do they have, Guerrilla actions are not confined to Muslims. I am certainly not condoning their Terrorist actions, but can 'kind of' understand their motivation. And most Religious Books are Hard Core Against other Religions Etc, it's not confined to Muslims.

And you have to view comments from most Aussies based on the fact that most don't believe there is a god, combine that with a very upsetting Terrorist action in a place that most Australians hold 'sacred', for want of a better word. Then don't be surpised why many Australians are now thinking; Why does our Government support these varied Religious groups, they only bring Aggravation and Misery, not the Hope and Good Will that their Dogma Professes. Now our Government wants to crack down on Guns as they are too gutless to adopt a more effective response, and I'm really Pi$$ed Off about that.
Long story short Israel has only "acquired" land when they have been attacked, they kick said attackers rear end then they keep the land as a buffer. Again they are not the aggressor. As I said it is not a gray area, their is only one group who is responsible for these disasters and it is Muslim terrorists. No ifs ands or but about it.

Well of course you're not going to change your mind despite all the Scientific Evidence, you have experienced a Lifetime of Indoctrination, similar to most Muslims 🤪

At least Stop with the 'Multiversing' Dude, very few Scientists think that's 'a thing'.

However, I will agree with you on One thing, as do most Scientists. The Universe is a Very Hostile environment, Solar Sytems where multicellular, especially 'Intelligent' life, is able to develop is likely to be Extremely Rare, we are indeed Special on Earth.

You’re way off base here, hoss. (First thing, do not ever again say I’m similar to a Muslim. Ever. Things will get very ugly, very fast if you do, even “in jest”.)

Until about 10 years ago I was very non-religious, agnostic, mostly, not quite atheist, but nearly. At one point I even attended a local debate featuring Christopher Hitchens and had him sign a copy of his most recent book. So to say that I’ve been under the influence of a “lifetime of indoctrination” is an obvious falsehood made up by you to fit your preferred narrative. The reasons for my turnaround are complex and not up for discussion.

That said, you then missed by a mile why I came to be a believer in God. It’s BECAUSE of the science — not despite it. I repeat. Because OF the science. I’ve already referenced some of the major issues. What caused the Big Bang? The law of cause and effect is immutable. Things don’t cause themselves. The fine tuning of the universe. This delves mostly into the world of quantum mechanics. You know, the double slit experiment/Schrodeinger’s cat, the ironically titled “god particle” discovered at CERN, etc. Or maybe you don’t…😂😂 And of course the origin of life. No scientist life has ever proven of demonstrated that life can spontaneously spring from non biological matter. Though lord knows they’ve tried — in labs. Nonetheless the primordial ooze hypothesis is still nothing but a lifeless mud puddle.

There are many many other scientific-based arguments that support the idea of a God. I’m not going to duplicate them here. There are plenty of books on the subject should you eject to read up on it. I’m quite sure you won’t.

Steven Hawking was one of the early sponsors of the multiverse. Perhaps you’re familiar? 🤓. Anyway. If you don’t believe in god, fine by me. Just don’t demean my belief as non scientific or say it’s based on my having a weak mind and succumbing to propaganda.

Jew, Muslim, Christian, or whatever, all the same to most Australians. It doesn't matter how you aquired your delusions, just keep them out of our country.

Try reading some 'correct' history.

Regardless of whether God exists, or the rights and wrongs of the middle east conflict, there does seem to be one common factor to all these attacks on innocent people going about their business.
Twin towers, Manchester arena, Bataclan theatre, New Orleans Madi Gras, Christmas market attacks, and now Bondi beach.
