The same four Capitol Hill police officers showing up at every single congressional hearing. There must have been hundreds of officers there on Jan. 6 but only these four guys ever show up and get on camera. They were sitting front and center at the hearing today. One guy went nuts and had to be escorted out. Regardless of political affiliation, this must seem strange to most people. Where are all the other officers?

Just think about how quickly things will break down when there is a real emergency and not just a snowstorm. The stores will be empty within hours. Almost no one has the ability to survive more than a few weeks without access to groceries and power.

To me the behavior is beyond idiotic. I have no idea after reading multiple articles what set the guy off other than someone on the opposite side attempted to introduce himself to initiate a conversation and if the audio is correct, it was not done menacingly. Apparently, in the chamber at recess the former officer uttered obscenities and then advanced whereby the current police quickly braced the guy and escorted him out. Just plain ugly scene and really not necessary in that forum.
 
I am sorry, but I have ZERO sympathy for PAID protestors, and it doesn't take a lot of research to verify most of this. Of course, not all are, but the paid ones and firms of that ilk are PAID to stoke the fires and get people to these protests. I also believe that the violence is caused by the abuse herein.

I AM ALL FOR FREE SPEECH AND RIGHT TO PROTEST, however IMO it is being abused, manipulated and if you remove that agitation, maybe you don't have incidents.

As far as what you just posted, non lethal force. I have no sympathy nor do I really care about what happens to these waste of space paid people that are IMO wasting oxygen that could be better used by others.

I do not view the right to peacefully protest as interfering with law enforcement operations which is arguably what a lot of these encounters are. IT is NOT a right to interfere, there is zero protection for that. I view it as certifiable idiocy that is causing incident after incident and the chips are going to fall where they do . FAFO.

Apologies for the delayed reply, I took a few days away from the forum following the passing of Mike from Sierra Toy Soldier.

I do not see your question as argumentative, I actually appreciate the follow-up inquiry.

I have seen it first hand in California, both by living there and via extensive business dealings in that state.

Respectfully, I’d rather not expand too much beyond that for obvious reasons.

Why aren't walz & frey in jail? That's were they should be. They are encouraging all this crap in Minnesota. And watching the news tonight in regards to the latest shooting. They make it sound as if the current deceased was just strolling down the street, minding his own business when he is jumped on by several Ice agents and a struggle ensued. Why in God's name is he approaching on duty agents carrying a pistol and why is he struggling if he did not mean to cause trouble. Nice work Ice. He got what he was looking for. I have zero sympathy and I mean zero for these people who are so called victims of Ice. And what makes matters worse the St Louis Blues, who were expected to make a run in the playoffs have the second least points in the NHL. I think the famous line from the Hindenberg disaster says it all. "Oh the humanity!"

This is a perfect storm. The ICE agents are not trained for crowd control because that is not their job. Because the local politicians refuse to allow the police to assist them, they are hounded by protestors who interject themselves into their operations and interfere causing chaos. Only bad things can happen. The mob is incited into this conduct with reckless rhetoric that compares US law enforcement of immigration laws with Nazi Germany. The only solutions now are to pull out and give in to the mob or invoke the Insurrection Act and allow the military to take charge of the city. The local politicians are acting in a similar way to the Southern segregationists of the 1960s who tried to defy federal enforcement of Civil Rights.

I have only one comment on this latest incident as a trained individual who is licensed to carry a gun. Why on God's green Earth would anyone openly have their gun out and insert yourself into a law enforcement operation? Absolutely no sense at all. Another perfect example of an idiot employing the principle FAFO. I stand by my previous words, this continues to prove me right unfortunately. This is pure irresponsibility by this idiot. A gun in the hands of a licensed carrier is for self defense, I am pretty sure aggressively inserting yourself into a law enforcement operation is not one of those justified situations. Pure stupidity.
 
I've said it before and I'll say it again, they are childish. Immature. Overgrown adolescents, emotionally.
