The Auto- Saharan Companies were the Italian equivalent of the LRDG and had several encounters with them. One near the Kufra oasis in January 1941 led to an extended exchange with casualties on both sides. The ASCs could provide an interesting opportunity for a future K and C release. They had...
I have always found them excellent - I have ordered stuff from them in Hong Kong, Pakistan and the UK and they were always fast and efficient. Andy would follow up with any queries too.
So my experience has been very good...
K and C in London - wow!
Just seen the K and C stand at the London Toy Soldier Stand and its impressive. No mater how many times you se the dios on line when you see the the real thing it really is very powerful. The Malay campaign dio is really well executed, the Battle for Berlin has so much...
Wow these are amazing - its also interesting to see how far K and C have come as well. I first visited K and C in Admiralty in about 2002 and remember their Silk Road display which was amazing. Like the handover display and the Vietnam ones too - excellent.
Excellent AK releases and a few more to come..thanks to Andy and the team we are no longer DAKS in despair! Still need a few more reinforcements and when might we see the Italian Sahariana in desert colours - that would be excellent. Although not collecting the Japanese series they are excellent...
What a series Andy - this isn't my collecting area but with the great planes, the stunning figures and more to come you are making me re-think this whole area. Its an excellent area of interest and all stunningly realised....wow
The LRDG are excellent Andy and really add to 8th Army but we do need a shed load more DAKS and IF to resist the onslaught. The Robin Hood series are impressive. I am really pleased to see the re-issues and the Desert Wall was really welcomed....its still all good stuff
I have ordered special wooden warbirds from K and C in Hong Kong. The team are excellent making sure everything goes smoothly and it normally takes 4 - 6 months for it to be completed. Its good value for money and they are very professional
DAKs in Despair! A great series if items this month - the Corsair and flight crew are brilliant, so is the tenement building and the rest is pretty impressive range. I think Andy may be trying to save me money by not having IF or DAK but hoping for next month. Still what an imaginative range of...
Guys I regularlly buy from Hong Kong and Kin Ng is excellent, always responsive and helpful. What you pay is the list price plus delivery. Fedex then charge for the VAT for the UK.
Its smooth and easy and no hassles . Good to know about ectoys though!
Way to go Andy - what a great scene and the flight crew and plane look brilliant. I am not a collector of this series but you are getting close o persuading me....
