Let the games begin the best out of 10.
Good luck England..................:salute::

What a game, after our poor batting performance Jimmy Anderson is on fire!{eek3} He has just passed Brett Lee's wicket haul, man this is going to be a toe to toe summer :salute::

Look at this last wicket stand!! Over a hundred and still going!

England are having a problem wrapping up the tail.
Good batting from this young man Agar.

I was too depressed to post before BUT NOT NOW!!!! This is 'once a century' stuff!

His interview at the end was just class. Loves the game and played with a smile on his face even when he was out. It was also refreshing to hear about his family and how he plays in the back garden with his brothers. Hope he keeps that innocence. I wish him well for the series.

If only we could show this interview to the majority of footballers where greed and lack of loyalty are the order of the day.

I hit the hay just when the young lad came out to bat thinking that's it for this innings only to awake to find he has broken two world records for test cricket WOW! Highest score for a number ten batsman and highest final wicket partnership, I think this ashes tour just took on a new flavour, well done to the young bloke and lets no forget Phil Hughes as well...brilliant :salute:::salute::

I was trying to convey the incredible nature of the innings to my wife and it was hard to put into words. Breaking the Australian record for highest number 11 score (over 100 years), 10th wicket (from 1924) and to have at the end world records for both was amazing. But to do it in his debut innings, aged 19, when everyone else had failed - well. Plus that smile! He was having the time of his life and let it show. The other thing is Hughes. He was a joke only two years ago. Such an awful technique, yet he never looked like getting out! Even against Swan! The whole thing gives me tingles. It was quite sad to see him out for 98 but it's a story that will be told forever. Sometimes 90 odd, in terms of making it an enduring story, has got more going for it than 100.

Even with it, I still thought England were in the stronger position and even with an early innings fright, that's where I think they ended up. But otherwise it's harder to think of a more energising day!

Not that interested in cricket myself, but it was great to see a keen young amateur showing the established money hungry professionals (of all sides) what sport used to be about.

It was a great knock for that young man.
I enjoyed watching it.
He is a bowler as well so maybe one to watch for the future.
Currently though England seem to be dominant again.
Interesting test.

Couldn't agree more mate:salute::

Been out all day and missed Broad furore. Glen McGrath says he was within his rights to wait for umpire, what you reckon guys?
