2015 NHL season (1 Viewer)

Since the Bruins aren't in the playoffs, do you have a team you're rooting for?

Great question; I'd love to see the Blues win it, they came into the league as part of the first wave of expansion and their fans have hung in there for about 50 years. Next would be Washington as Ovi is my favorite non Bruins player in the league and they are another group of long suffering fans; a Blues/Capitals final would be epic.

Lastly, I'd like to see San Jose win it; they've had some epic failures and Joe Thorton was my favorite Bruin when he played here; trading him AND Segiun have to go down at two of the most boneheaded trades in Bruins history, more like Boston Sports History, ranking right up with there with selling Ruth to the MFY's, trading Jeff Bagwell for Larry Anderson and trading Anthony Rizzo...................

Brad why didn't you ask me who I wanted to win it? Great game today, but I've been down this road before. I was pissed off all day yesterday after the referees decided game 2 using a magnifying glass to detect an off side. Two teams I never count out until the last game is over is Chicago & LA.
I wonder if Dallas fans after as George said, buy their Stars jersey as they enter the arena switch from "howdy pawdner" to "Hey hooser" this time of year?

Gary,

I know who you want to win and hope you get there.

The Sharks look great so far and the Blues look even better.

And I know the story but every time I see number 68 skating for the Panthers I think I am seeing a ghost.

Tough week in So Cal. Kings and Ducks drop four out of four at home. Brutal. The Preds are playing well but I would not have predicted in a million year they win both in Anaheim. The Kings are getting killed on the power play. The injuries and lack of depth of their D has really hurt them.

I'm so glad for those long suffering, diehard Nashville fans. Talk about a hockey hotbed; can you imagine the celebration if they win the cup, it will be an all timer. You can have your original 6 teams all you want; give me an original 32 team anytime.

When I think of iconic hockey jerseys, I think Canadiens, Maple Leafs, Blackhawks, Bruins, Rangers, Red Wings and that awesome, iconic mountain lion/bigfoot/loch ness monster on the Predators jersey...................

The Kings got a big one last night in OT. The home team is now 0-3 in this series and something like 1-8 this year in games between the Sharks and Kings. The Sharks have been horrible at home most of the season. Very bizarre.

I went to a game in Nashville this season and they have a pretty decent set up. The music is awful with a Holiday Inn lounge band playing between periods but a fun time there. Just wait until Las Vegas gets a team. I think that is supposed to happen next season or so. Maybe they will have slots in the penalty box and Tom Jones will sing the national anthem.

I believe Las Vegas if finalized would start in the 17-18 season. A few months back on some hockey site they listed possible names and logos for the Las Vegas team. Some of the most creative I have ever seen.

Las Vegas What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas Vegasians
Las Vegas Me love you long time Vegasians
Las Vegas Every casino is filled with blue hairs Vegasians

Any of those will do...............

OK, I'm not a hockey fan, but there can be only one of two possibilities for a Las Vegas team: 1- The Las Vegas Newtonettes or 2- the Las Vegas Mafiosi. I lean towards the Mafiosi. ^&grin -- Al

Whatever they name them I just hope they have a white suited Elvis impersonator as their mascot. Your Caps are rolling. Sounds like the fans in Philly got out of hand. Philly fans are probably the angriest of any city. They hate their own teams.

Things coming apart in Chicago with Shaw now suspended.

You have to understand where I'm coming from. 48 years, no cup. Last 3 years great regular season, out in the first round. Now to my statement. Before Tuesdays Blues-Hawks game I said just win tonight and the series will be a lock. well they won and tonight I'm more nervous than Tuesday. Loose tonight, go back to Chicago, loose there. Game 7 any thing can happen. I need a drink!
Gary

Looks like Doug was right. Rangers get one game and that's about it.

To borrow a line from George, looks like the Let's Go Pens! will win in 5.

I really thought that it was going to be one of the better first round series, then again I also thought Chicago would win the Cup this year.

There are so many games in the early rounds that the networks are going with local announcers for the games, the Black Hawks crew is beyond annoying.

Who is this play by play tomato can?......................"And here comes Hossa..........he SHOOTS!!!..................SAVE!!!!!!!!!!!.................his voice gets deeper and deeper..........it's monumentally annoying.....................please, STOP IT whoever you are.

They are laying the wood to the Rangers tonight, what a no show by the Rangers, down 4 ZIP with about seven minutes left in the second period.

Hopefully they get by the Rangers and onto the Caps and invoke the age old curse of Super Mario. If you recall, the Pens no matter how bad they were playing used to keep the Caps out of the Cup for years. I hope the Curse comes back!

Again, need to get by the Rangers, Let's Go PENS!
