And so it begins . . . that is SNOW (2 Viewers)

As everyone knows, southern California has fabulous weather. After the plentiful rains earlier this year, we are now having just about perfect weather and everything is green (which is not usually the case) and in bloom. No snow storms, hurricanes, or tornadoes, but we do have earthquakes and wild fires.

Nice house is that the soldier room above the carport

Beautiful home Mike. Chris

A miserable, rainy 40 degree day here. They are calling for snow flurries in parts of NE. California may burn, slide, and occasionally shake but you can't beat the weather.

I just heard on the news/weather that with the snow predicted for tonight (which is mostly up north in the mountains) it will set a new record off 203 days that Maine has had some snow fall.

Just doesn't seem to end ...:redface2:

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks, we have lived here for 34 years when we bought it new. No, that is the bonus room above the garage where I have my office and library. My toy soldier room is actually the fourth bedroom that use to belong to my son, Keith. You can't see it in these photos, it is on the back side of the house.

We went straight from winter to summer this year. It turned boiling hot which can only mean one thing. It's the anniversary of the Gettysburg battle as demonstrated by the upsurge in tourists this week. There were more cars parked during along the Seminary Ridge portion of the battlefield yesterday than any other time I can remember except for the 150th anniversary. The Park Rangers and local cable affiliate PCN were doing live shows. Some of those are pretty good. I watch via my cable TV but I think some of the programs are available online: https://pcntv.com/gettysburg-collection-landing/
