Britain's Zulu War (5 Viewers)

Glad you enjoyed them gentlemen and yes the more Zulus the better Mike. They do look impressive in a large group.

Great pictures Scott. {bravo}}

As you quite rightly say they do look impressive in a large group..............standing up or laying down^&grin

Cheers

Hi guys, I have just decided to collect the AZW, received a few items from the London show and well...I have to say I am flabbergasted at the quality of these figures! No photo, as good as it can be, can replace having the figures in your hand. I have to say they exceed my expectations. As soon as I can I'll post some photos (now where is my camera, I have just moved:rolleyes2:...). I am also starting a War along the Nile collection, these figures are also awesome, too good to resist. I love all the figures that I got (including 2 early Zulu releases), but the artillery piece with the shot Zulu is just outrageous stuff:tongue:. Plus my young son helped me to set up the scenes, so a lot of enjoyment today!
I'll be back to this thread:cool:...

Here's a noted Zulu War Fan that I'm sure can't wait for the 25th that appears on this months calendar to arrive. Better late than never posting it......The Lt.

Joe - I am teaching Ricky to paint! Even with a dad that runs a toy soldier business he is going to break me with his Christmas requests for more figures! But after all...how can I say no?????....

We were playing with Armies in Plastic new Camel Corps figures last night and he set up a great desert column, mountain gun and all! In the middle of it a friend called to play video games with him and he said no he was playing soldiers with his dad. It just does not get any better than that.

Richard

I'm sure I'm going to rattle a few cages and ruffle a few feathers but KC is not the only game in town. Richard Walker along with Ken Osen and the staff of WBritain have been working to develop the Zulu War Line and there is no doubt in my mind that'll be a winner. I'm sure you'll all agree that to date Britain's new approach to the hobby has been a winner and will continue to be one. Along with those of you waiting to see what's in store for us it can't come quick enough but I'm sure you'll all agree it'll be well worth the wait....The Lt

Yes, the W. Britain Zulu War figures are very good indeed!

Betting his answer an playtime together made your day Richard. Now along with his painting and creating little dio's need to put a camera in his hands to share the results of his playtime with us. He's been a hit on all of my active forums...............Joe

It's been a while since I last had a close look at this thread and I see I have missed some great photos of some really nice figures. It is a testament to the AZW collectors on here that this thread continues to go from strength to strength.{bravo}}

No one does the AZW like William Britain {bravo}} I really need to get some playtime in before Christmas.

Just got all my Britain's into my new cabinet; just need a good grass mat and a decent backdrop.

Really like many of the two person sets WB does; looking forward to the new ones in 2012 and the Zulu casualty figures

Cheers

Very nice Gazza, I think I have 14 figures/sets to buy and then I am all caught up for everything that is Zulus !! It really does look impressive when it is all set up.

Thanks Gazza for keeping the Zulu theme alive, nice photo's. Have all the figures, just no time to set them up. Soon I hope. Cheers, Robin.

Wishing my fellow Zulu War Collectors and the team of WBrtain a Very Merry Christmas.....PapaZ
