Britain's Zulu War (6 Viewers)

Scott,

Those are some really nice photos,

and

that is one well guarded field kitchen.

No Zulus going to steal those biscuits.

Great backdrop, terrrain and photography,

Michael

Thanks all for your very kind comments. I had fun with this one, even though it never actually happened :p I am certainly having fun playing with them.

Oh it probably did, before the 22nd January! Great non-combatant scenes make everybody giddy, don't you know!:D:cool:

Scott and Jagd - great pictures from both of you. Scott - what manufacturer makes the kitchen set? Jagd - I really like the grass on the base you used - Did you make it yourself or is the grass a retail product?

Thanks Mike,

The kitchen set is by Tamiya (it's a kit, scale is 1/35) goes together real nicely. It comes with 2 horses also but I decided not to use them. If you look under the plastic section you can see the process. Still have a couple bits left to touch up however. I bought it mainly to give me something to do as I have recently quit smoking and it was cheap, about $10.00

Does anyone know where the MZ exclusive Melvill figure is? It's gone from the MZ site?? You're not gonna tell me he is pre-sold out. That would be a major letdown.

edit; I emailed Modelzone about it.

Seems like ModelZone's decided to show only what it has in stock at this time Joachim and doubt it's arrived in England yet when it was listed earlier it was shown not to be in stock along with a number of others that have been deleted. Got a hunch it's still availabe but I've been known to be wrog in the past......The Lt.

I agree. The kneeling NMP looks like the Brit hunter in Jumanji.:D Now it's time for the Carbineers to make an entrance!
Mike

My Aide de Camp you must remember the Drift hasn't been fully manned yet but I wouldn't be surprised if we see them along with the first batch of new figures and sets due in the 1st half of 2010.......The Lt.

Your hunches have never failed us, My Lord. But you've got to keep us staff officers busy on this grand adventure, with our short attention spans attributed to the public school system.
