Dispatches are up! (2 Viewers)

I will be using some of the middle eastern civilians for my Durbar, and maybe even some of the Egypt sets for a small nap in Egypt scene.

Rob...

When you think how long that kubel has been around are there any collectors who would not have it?? This must have been a popular set Nice early war piece though and, the cavalry britches on the officers were interesting.

The Yalta set is excellent and is a great stand alone piece.

Your right about the extra civillians would have been good in the dio you made. You can always do another and use them in conjunction with the others you have. I am sure that would keep the simple minds occupied!!!

I agree Mitch, Yalta and Newspaper man are really good. I'm thinking of buying all three but using a D Day headline on the Japanese newspaper headline. Only one retirement for me but I'll keep that a secret as it will feature in my next dio, but for any of you guys thinking about this one I say go for it, classic K&C set^&cool;

Picked up the Kubel last month for £50.00 .Agree the Yalta set and newspaper seller are very good

Well rounded Dispatches today. Two newspaper sellers, an Egyptian statue, a civilian set, and the Yalta meeting have been added to my list. I am debating whether to add the mummy and map sets for Nap in Egypt. At least no new planes to take my money this month.

This are just right on the money, hopefully I can feaure these in a dio or two in the future;

They are very nice and, I can think of a few headlines that could be placed on these depending on the dio setting, very useful for dio builders

The middle one and the new civilians would be nice additions to your bomb dio!

A very nice release with a lot of variety. My only disappointment was no Crusades.
A question for Andy is if he intends to add action figures to the Napoleon in Egypt range?

Great all round selection of releases......though not much for me this time!. I really like the Gas pumps set that is a must-have!! , but i think i wll have a shot at building my own Garage..The Mother + Daughter set is also joining my collection of Refugee"s. Also like the 8wheel armoured car. but as i have the early grey version, i will pass on this one at the moment.

Mitch, as you say the Kubel was around a long time and must have been very popular, got to be one of the most iconic pieces of War machinery ever. And yep looks like I'll have to make another dio!:smile2:

I was looking online for a 'Churchill new prime minister' headline, how cool that would look with the latest Churchill figure strolling by!

The middle one and the new civilians would be nice additions to your bomb dio!

Most definitely!:smile2:

If you visit the new release K&C site, you will see another ALH Turk and the 2 other NE figures that were only shown in the group of 4 around the statute on these dispatches. Cheers. Robin.

Yalta set would have been nice if only Churchhill and Roosevelt were dressed as they were when photo was taken on that day.

You do make a point, I think the set was based on the first photo and Roosevelt should have glasses on and no cape or cigar and Churchill a R.A.F cap on his lap and seated on the right, and Stalin no great coat, but honestly I don't care at all, it is still a great set which I will be getting for sure.

Churchill is not in coats but uniform... odd. If is a cold day every three of them should be in coats

I was not aware of that photo Wayne, thanks for posting it.
Had this one in mind with Churchhill not in uniform but with this big coat and Roosevelt in a nice suit verses the clown suit.

Yes the more famous photo we all know, Andy seems to have done a combination of both photos so to speak, none the less still a great set that is a must have for me.
