Eagle Design Tiger I (2 Viewers)

Hopefully more camo versions will be made available for purchase..:salute::..I ordered a Grey Tiger but it has still not arrived yet.

Though not listed yet on ebay, I see that ED have photos of the completed models for Winter and DAK.

Hi all

Last week my ED camo Tiger arrived and to say I'm happy with it would be an understatement! The quality of the tank is first rate along with the painting and weathering and overall detail. All the hatches open and close and the barrel elevates smoothly with no droop. The weight is also excellent, not to heavy but not to light, just right in my opinion. The tracks I believe are made of metal and they have a nice sag to them, just like the real deal. The body of the tank is made of resin, similar to the FL Tigers but the ED Tiger is a lot heavier, probably because of the metal tracks. The FL Tigers have rubber tracks. The price is also excellent at $196 USD fully shipped to your door. The camo version I got has sold out along with the grey version but there are other versions on the way and ED may release more of this version and the grey version in the future. Here are some pic's, the tank commander is from Kronprinz.

Tom,

those tracks look great, so realistic, and no mud !!!

Excellent review and photos Tom! I think ED is the new Figarti. The ED Tiger I is better than my Figarti Tiger I in every way and the metal tracks set the bar higher for all Panzer manufacturers IMO.

Thanks John and I agree, I prefer no mud in the tracks as well.

Thanks Kat, I still like my Figarti Tigers and I put the ED Tiger on par with them. The metal tracks however are a game changer and I think they are a cut above the other manufacturers.

HI Tom
Thanks for the photos. Can you post the ED Tiger compare with FL Tiger.
Thank You.

Vezzolf, who’s tank commander are you using in this pic? K&C?

Yes, that is a K/C Tank Commander figure.... It works with this Tiger and fits nicely into the turret..... K/C makes very good half body Tank Commanders :salute::

My Camo Tiger 1 arrived this week and it is really outstanding. I am spending more of my TS funds with this company and have nothing but great things to say about them. Together with War Park, of whom I have also purchased their first set of winter SS figures, are 2 companies who are producing some great sets and getting my money.
