Sadly, this is not a case of damage in transit its very clearly a packaging problem. IMO with the tightness of packaging on this set means all damage would have been done before it left HK.

Customers should not have to physically collect their purchases so they don't get damaged.

Let me beat this dead horse now that I have seen the base.................TWICE!

Ok, great gun, great set, no complaints on that, BUT:::

It is easy to see why the base breaks. It is not the packaging IMO. If you notice, the "arms" are metal, but they are connected by polystone "pegs", well, guess what, metal is heavier than poly, so SNAP CRACKLE POP.

To me this was an avoidable break.

That said, glad they are being replaced, hopefully no more issues.

I love K&C so no issue there, but hopefully this mistake gets fixed the right way.
