A mixed bag flew in this week. First up some older Thomas Gunn German tank riders to go with those winter tanks on the Eastern Front or during the Battle of the Bulge in early winter 1945. Next up some superb Prussian cavalry to go with the ever growing range from Team Miniatures covering the
Franco/Prussian War. Incidentally there is a great series (done in weekly parts) on YouTube on the conflict. Then those mysterious Bahamas native peoples, Guanahani, Christopher Columbus first encountered in the Bahamas again made by Team Miniatures. That first contact between the peoples of the new world and the white man. This provides a great lead into the Aztec figures done by Morgan Miniatures and John Jenkins. I love the huts which add to the scene and the apprehension on the faces of the figures as Columbus lands and crashes into their world.
The final figure from the King & Country set of French infantry during their expedition to Egypt in 1798. I was always missing the drummer so picked it up. I got three more Sots Greys to add to the ones already acquired. I can now amass a charge of 20 figures once these are combined with the little troops in New Zealand. l also had a hankering for the WW2 Japanese truck. Finally I eventually got hold of the First Legion sale priced Ancient Macedonian Infantry to add to the FL cavalry and Kronprinz infantry already acquired.
Anyway I hope you enjoy the photos.
