Really great seeing all these HECO pieces. Tony and Adele were great and prolific producers.

My dads shop was the primary seller of these in the US and much of what we got was immediately sent to South America.

I noticed . . . but there seem to be a lot of black spots on the wings. I'd like to get it, but I'm afraid the discoloration my be rust spotsd.

Couldn't tell you Al. There might be rust, but I don't know if tin rusts. I would ask the seller, maybe he could send you some other photos.

It almost looks like mold spots to me, but I have no idea if metal can get mold. Perhaps it is in the paint itself. Moisture can cause mold in paint. -- Al

The spots look like a transfer from the storage material or could even be a mold. What ever it is it may not be such a good deal.

Perhaps. I so rarely get back to NYC these days. I use a private shipper for all my east coast deliveries and, when I do get back, I scramble out of there as fast as I can.

I couldn't have imagined NYC being busier and having any more traffic than 20 years ago but...

All is well. Feel like 80-90% better since the back surgery. Still limited, but I can live with it. Family is good. How about you?
