Heco Tinplate Models (2 Viewers)

Not yet Al. Hope to hear today (fingers crossed).

Any interest in the Ambulance? Its a great model at a very good price.

You are welcome, Tom!

I got it on offer!

PS Louis - you are lucky I was slaving and working at the show, I didn't get to the Metal Shed room until after you got that Steam Tractor!!!!!! Was that a new piece or a collection piece???

The tractor is amazing in person. I was on the fence and was so glad that it went to a good home and I didn't have to contemplate it anymore!!!!

Glad to hear you got the Heco Ambulance (I have 3).

I think the Metalshed Steam Tractor was a collection piece, a lot of what Joe had was. I was thrilled to get it. Also, just got off the phone with George, and I hope to hear from him today confirming a deal for the two Heco Tinplate Models we discussed at the show, from a friend of his. :smile2:

I just okayed the price conveyed to me by George for the two Heco models. The first is a Tiger Tank (which I may pass along to Tom Dubel if its in markings he doesn't have). The other model is one I have never seen before, not even in a Heco catalogue: a SDKFZ 222 (4 RAD) armored car in Afrika Corps markings!^&cool^&cool^&cool^&cool^&cool I am psyched!!^&grin I will post photos upon receipt.

I'm on a two day business trip out to San Francisco. Had a great day visiting with close friend Doug Luna. Saw his epic collection! Bought a terrific smaller version of the Heco RFC Mechanics' Workshop with a couple of cool Heco RFC figures I didn't have from his son. Photos to follow once I receive the shipment (I couldn't carry it on the plane).

Got home after midnight. With 2 six-hour flights in 2 days, I woke up in the middle of the night with back pain shooting down both legs. It's the worst I've felt since the surgery and I can't walk this morning without my cane.

My neck surgery never healed right ,because I needed to get back to work and do all the physical stuff necessary. My doctors never stated up front what the real rehab time would be and that is on them. Maybe you need to dial down the more extreme work elements and think about light duty chores. Also the long time in upright chairs do play havoc on the back and neck .:( Michael

Long flights can do that. I always take Celebrex and Skelaxin (muscle relaxant) before long trips, plus I have a pillow roll (you can order them from Amazon) as insurance. I assumed you traveled coach but it might be worth it to go first next time. Feel better.

Attached are some photos of a Heco Tinplate Models "Tommy" figure with a clipboard I recently obtained:

Lost two auctions for a Heco WWI Mark IV Tank and Rolls Royce Armored Car last night. Did anybody snag them?
