Help identifing Chuch Harris' loose items (2 Viewers)

I found this item in a box of stuff. Seems to be homemade. I know this is the type of landing craft that the US forces used to storm the Normandy beach but I do not know what it's called.

It has a little damage to one of the round areas.

Any ideas what it might be worth if anything?

Can anyone tell me what kind of tank this might be and which country?

And also which country this military jeep might be from? Is it a jeep or called something else?

Any other info on either item would be appreciated.

Thank you

I'm not an expert in either but the tank is Japanese Type 97 Shinhoto Chi-Ha medium tank (1942) from WW2 and the other vehicle is a WW2 British Daimler armored scout car. -- Al

Anyone know what brand this diecast jeep might be? It does not have any readable writing on the bottom. Looks like it did, but the paint covered it up. Is this WWII? Anything you can tell me about it would be great.

I'm just guessing to say its, Fusilier brand. WWII desert group LRDG. I may have the initials mixed up or totally wrong. I need help in helping.

Hi

The last one is for sure WWII and is either by Fusilier, Toy Army Work Shop or maybe Ben Gurion. I will see if I can find it in my books.

Dave

SAS Jeep is Fusilier, but it is a repaint? The original ones are very "clean" looking, this one looks to be redone/repainted.

Thanks
Tom

Fusilier it is! Found it on their site right off the bat. You guys are great!
I think it has been repainted because the one on their site is solid tan where as Dad's has a camo pattern to it.

Thank you everyone.

Can anyone please tell me what type tank this is?

At least this time the model had the brand on the bottom - Italeri

It is a Panzerjager Tiger (P), more commonly called an Elephant. It is a WW2 German tank destroyer, first introduced at the Battle of Kursk in 1943 (Eastern Front). The P stands for the designer Ferdinand Porsche. -- Al

Thank you, Al! I thought it might be an Elephant, but I couldn't find an exact match on the Italeri model web site.

The formal designation is "Landing craft, vehicle, personnel" or LCVP, but they were commonly known as Higgins boats, after the designer, Andrew Higgins. He ran a company in New Orleans, building flat-bottomed craft for use in shallow water, and the Marine Corps approached him in the late 30's about building landing boats. I don't know who made this model, though.

Prost!
Brad

Thank you Brad!
Anyone have any info on the pictures below this post?
I know one is a half track.

The German halftrack is a Sd.Kfz. 251/1 II, rocket launcher variant called a Ground Stuka, equipped to launch the Wurfkoerper rocket of 280mm or 320mm.
I believe the tank vehicle is a variant of the standard German Mk. 4 tank called a Flakpanzer Wirbelwind, armed with 4 20mm anti-aircraft cannon in a revolving turret. -- Al

Thank you so much Al! I think this is the last of the loose plastic models that I have. I've got one more resin tank to get identified when I get pictures and then we'll be starting on the metal items. Yah!!
