Pierre,

If you mean the painting, is the same.
If you mean the sculptor, this is a different one.
If you mean the scale, they are very much alike the others. We pay extra attention to the accurate 1:30 scale for tanks and figures.

Ana

Hi Ana,

Thanks for your quick and complete answer to my question who was, I can see it now, very vague.

My question was in relation of the sculpture of the figures which is more in accordance with my personnal tastes than the previous ones who were too taller, too thinner and too long.

Also, I am very impatient to see more of the German Field Kitchen set.

My best regards,
Pierre.

I have to say I'm not too pleased with the 30% price increase of the new Panthers. They are already a little bit more than K&C even though they are very impressive I will become a bit choosy instead of buying them all. Is there a way to reduce the weight so maybe it can save you and us money? The new ones will have to be way better than the current ones for the price increase.

My biggest concern is having to wait now that I have seen it. Anyone know if treefrog is taking preorders? I have American dollars.

Treefrog is always happy to take pre-orders. We do not put items on the web site until we have firm prices, but shoot us an e-mail and we'll put you on the list!

I think there is a possiblity that their costs will not allow them to compete pricewise with K & C. Costs are more expensive in Argentina than China and Andy has the luxury of economies of scale.

I am interested in the Winter Panther but at $140 a pop I have to think twice about it. We all welcome competition but it does make for difficult choices.

Doug,

HB vehicles won't be limited series, nor numbered. The molds need to be re-made constantly because of their damage, approximately every 50 pices. When the amount of orders for one vehicle doesn't justify its re-mold it will be taken out of production.
Ana

"taken out of production" ;) Ana, surely you mean the more politically correct and marketable term 'retired' :)

Isn't the KC Meyer Car about $200?

It's a limited plus six figures, etc. so there's ostensibly a difference.

I notice that HB has listed its German infantry figures in either Waffen SS or Wehrmacht formats. That is a great idea since a number of folks have complained about the lack of Wehrmacht.

Ana - It was suggested on toy soldier chat that some collectors prefer the brighter "non-weathered" Panthers. Any possibility some of those might ever be made available?

Ana,
Are the winter panthers still on schedule to be released in July (early/late)and is there any chance of getting some more Barkmann P-3's up here? Still waiting for mine.;)

Fred

Fred,

WP: late July. Your P3 is leaving next week so you'll probably get it the following week. We've been focusing on the P1, which is the more ordered one.

Ana

Hi Ana,

I just received my P-1 (Barkmann) and wanted to complement you for a job very well done. The detail on this tank is superb, I love the crisp clean lines and the beautifully detailed tracks, road wheels and rear deck over the engine compartment. Nice job on the figures also, maybe the standing figure could be "fleshed out" a little more, that might be a case of me being used to K&C figures, but over all the scuplting and painting are fantastic. It was a very long wait, but well worth it for a great addition to my collection. Looking forward to the winter version and the Shermans, hope you consider doing a winter Sherman also. Now if my P-3 would only hurry up and get here.:)
Special thanks go out to George G. from Minute Men who delivered the tank to my door and bought me lunch to "boot", now that's what I call great customer service.:D

Fred

Hola Ana:

¿Cualquier posibilidad de producir a este Americano clásico blindó vehículo del Segunda Guerra Mundial este año?

(Translation: Any possibility of producing this classic American Armored vehicle of WWII this year?)

Seguro, N-P, porque no. Le voy a pasar tu sugerencia a los 'muchachos'

Sure, N-P, why not. I'll pass your suggestion to the boyz

Take care,

Ana

:) Hello ANA! Como esta? Are you going to make any Vehicle's for N.Africa this Year or Next? For DAK, and British 8th Army, and Italian Army?

I received my three panthers last week and I have spent quite a bit of time admiring them. You folks at Honor Bound have done a wonderful job. Bravo Zulu. Now about that box....

Thank you, Michael.

John, nothing is excluded from our plans. Definitely not this year, and don't know about next year yet.

Ana

Ana-
Will you have some new photos of the Winter Panther anytime soon?
