Impressive New Jagdpanther (1 Viewer)

Still getting two the tracks can't be that bad all of a sudden...................^&confuse

I have to say I like where King and Country has been going with its three color German camo recently. The colors appear more authentic and subdued. {bravo}}

I quite like this release. The road wheels do appear to have a different base color which looks a tad strange and I'm not a fan of the mud track reinforcement. The zimmerit appears too coarse/deep to me as well.

Overall a very nice looking release.

could just be tricks on the eye. the superstructure just has small patches of yellow surrounded by the secondary colors, and the wheels have the issue of being curved/saucer...so could be a lighting/perception issue. Which makes it good camo!! ^&grin

What like about the KC paint job is it look flat where as the hb look to loud when camo are meant to blend in with the background not stand out

Agree Camo is a lot better in recent releases the Zim on this and the Stug in this pattern was very deep I think, manufactures forget this was a paste application and does not need to be as bold. To be fair a lot that have been done have been like that across manufacturers.

For me Honour Bound had their challenges with colors and patterns as well. In addition, the Honour Bound hull shape on their Jagdpanther was wrong (which came a quite a surprise to me).

Thanks for sharing

From the cut-out view the armor does not seem to be thick for this tank {eek3}

I noticed the same thing when I was at the IWM in London last summer. My wife took some photos of me around the Jagdpanther and I took a close up with my hand next to the cutout armor. I just checked a book in my library and according to Encyclopedia of German Tanks of World War Two / Revised Edition by Chamberlain, Doyle, and Jentz, the Jagdpanther had 80mm of frontal superstructure armour with 55 degree slope and 50mm of side superstructure armour with 30 degree slope. To compare the Jagdtiger had 250mm of frontal superstructure armour with 15 degree slope and 80mm of side superstructure armour with 25 degree slope. The Jagdpanther was a huge AFV. I am 6'0" tall and look really small up against the side. Interesting.

Also as I was searching for these photos came across a picture of the Tower Bridge with the Olympics symbol tucked away underneath ready to be lowered for the games last year.:smile2:
