JUST ... KING and COUNTRY American Revolution (1 Viewer)

"Now you understand why it was so important that the messengers I sent ahead were insistent that the execution be stopped.

"Also you can see why I am somewhat indebted to Maguya, who brought me the information and your plans."
"A Savage, yes. Valuable also yes."

"I would never question the General's words, but if I may be permitted, how did this incredible fact come to see the light of day."

"I told you a moment ago that the British Army also had an efficient spy network established.
"A while ago, a Colonial Loyalist came to us and offered his services as an informant.
"He has established himself as a loyal and trusted member of a large Colonial Militia outfit.
"I believe that it calls itself .. "Allen's Ranger Militia" .. or ARM .. after the name of its mostly incompetent and inept leader, someone named Lawrence Allen."

"No doubt a country bumpkin pumpkin."
"Do we know who this British Loyalist spy is, General."

"No, even I do not know. The only information I have is he goes by the code name ... SIR Malcolm."
"Captain Wayne, clear off this table. I dare not touch this mess for fear of disease."

"Gentlemen, here is the plan that will gain us a great victory, thanks to the information from Sir Malcolm."

"He as managed to get a message to us that the Militia outfit I just mentioned and a small contingent of the Rhode Island Continentals plan to ambush and capture the 17th Dragoon supply column headed to reinforce General Cornwallis."

"SIR, they passed through here but just a short time ago."

"Yes, you and the supply column were being observed by a band of Militia."

"Good Gracious! I'm, I'm Gobsmacked!"

"I am taking the three prisoners with me. We have interrogation techniques that can break even the strongest will or fortitude."
"I assure you ... we will know everything about this CULPER RING, the members, the leaders and those who helped them."

"They will pay dearly, and quite painfully if I have my way."
"The women I care little about. Give them to Maguya to appease him"

"Thank you Captain Wayne for saving the Brandy."

That's crossing the line and going too far, slandering a good man like Allen. Can only hope this matter can redeem itself in the next instalment. Robin.

"Actually, General, I believe that I have overheard that phrase in a converesation between two British officers, not to long ago."
"But, I paid it little attention as they were both of junior rank."

"JUNIOR RANK! OVERHEARD!"
"Good Lord, Gentlemen, is there such a thing as security in this army any longer.
"No wonder the darn Americans can obtain information so easily."
"They simply need to listen to our JUNIOR OFFICERS!"

"We have not been able to identify any of the members of this blasted CULPER RING ...that is ... until now!"

"No, General, you can not be implying that one of these, these .. prisoners has the intelligence need to be a ... SPY?"

"I am not implying anything Captain Preston. I am STATING a fact."

Hey Enrico,
For 1776 it is plush and modern ... {sm4}
That was my first try at an inside shot and pictures. It was sort of a test for what will be coming up.
Very glad that you are enjoying the story and posts.

Evening Ivanhoe ... As I mention below that was my first try at an inside picture shoot. I am happy with it for a first try but I have found out what I need to do to improve the next ones. I still have a couple of shots from this take and then we are off to .... <oooppps> almost gave it away.

I enjoy hunting for the little details and adding them to the scene. Sometimes I take three or four shots and adjust the "items" to make it a bit more interesting. Thank you for noticing.

Hey Mark ... Happy that you are enjoying the read as much as I am creating it.

An entire new setting coming up this week as it is going to get an little more wild and woolly.
AND ... a very good pickup on the "TURN" that the story line is taking. Although the entire story is FICTITIOUS I do enjoy adding slices of historical fact and see what happens. I have a few more shots from this setting and we are off to a whole new setting ... but you'll have to check back to see what it might be.

HINT: On a cold night, be sure to keep your "Wig Warm" ..:rolleyes2:

Wonderful story and scenes Larry. The cabin interior is really outstanding. Don't know how you find the time to crank these out but have enjoyed every episode. Chris

Happy July 4th Chris ...
I thought that I would give a try at an interior scene; since I want to have a ever-changing story and diorama layout.
It was .. :rolleyes2: .. interesting try to setup and get a good picture, but I am fairly happy with the result.

Thank you for the post.

Carving out time during the summer is a bit harder, since all the chores that need attending to ... lawn mowing, painting, repairing and such. It is nice at the end of a tiring day to retire to my "studio" ^&grin and play for a few hours.

Look for some more today / tomorrow .... that is if I am not too stuffed with Hamburgers, Chicken, Hot Dogs, and all the fixings ....:p

Keep on coming back ....

I love the Flag Bearer sets, as you can no doubt see.

My plan is to go to Flag Dude ... http://www.flagdude.com/ ...and get different flags for these gentlemen.
But in any case, I just love Flag Bearers!!

PS: I didn't add the RI Flag Bearer and the first release NY Flag bearers set ... or the French Flag Bearer ...

I didn't have a table big enough .... {sm4} ...{sm2}... {sm3}

LARRY'S NOTE: I have been forced off P.B. as many of us also have been ... or soon will be.
I am now using a tool to resize and directly insert the photos. Please let me know if you see a noticeable difference in the quality of the photo.
Getting use to the tool will take a little time.
Many THANKS!
Now ... on with the story!

Continuation of the Dragoon Saga

Previously, The British General Reuss and the his Army have arrived at the rebels farm. Luckily his runners were in time to stop the execution of our three American Patriots. After conferring with Captains Preston, Wayne and Miller the General informed Captain Preston that he had a plan to crush the Patriot armies and put an end to this rebellion. However, he urgently need to see the prisoners.

After a conversation with them he informed the three British Captains of very secret information. The General was aware that a major spy network was operating throughout the colonies referred to as THE CULPER NETWORK. He strongly believes the one of the three prisoners is a major member. Once the General's interrogators had the prisoners in their grasp they would break them and get the required information, thus destroying the CULPER RING.

At the same time he had a parallel plan to destroy the Colonial Rhode Island Regiment and open up the path to final victory.

The fate of our heroins seems sealed as the heartless General plans to give the ladies to the savage Indian Chief Maguya.

As the British Army is getting a brief rest .... a rider suddenly enters the encampment ... with urgent information.

"I must speak with the General immediately. I have a urgent message that I must give him at once."

"Whoa .. you expect me to just let you barge right into the General's private meeting. Are you daft man or drunk?"
"What is this message about, anyway?"

"I have orders to give this information .. ONLY .. to General Reuss. NOW let me pass or there will be hell to pay and you will be the debtor!"

RMess01.jpg

"GENERAL! GENERAL REUSS can you hear me, Sir"

"You are insane, man."

"NO I am not insane, but you MUST be to delay me like this. When the General hears about this I am sure he will have you shot!"

"Ummm .. have .. me ... shot?"

"YES .. SHOT, hopefully after you have been flogged!"

"Flogged ... AND ... shot?"
"Wait here, I will see what I can do.

RMess04.jpg

"Okay, on second thought, come this way. BUT the other ones MUST wait here."

"Fine man, but let us go now. Again I say it is URGENT I see the General."
