Sorry .. but I just needed to ask this

what do you think K&C's next NAP offering will be ?

Me .. I am thinking that it would be some Imperial Horse Grenadiers :p

Imperial Horse Grenadiers would be a fantastic addition to our collections, but i would love to see a few more heavy British cavalry , maybe the lifeguards.

what do you think?.

very best wishes Mark

One of them (red and green ribbon) is the Medal of St Helene that was given to French Napoleonic war veterans. The other one (blue and red ribbon) is the Waterloo/Wellington medal that was given to British Waterloo battle veterans.

Mark .. got to agree with you. The Greys are presently heavily outnumbered and we could all do with much needed reinforcements. A point to note though, is that K&C's Scot Greys are very popular and do not look set to retire. No retirements mean less likely for relief :(

The French Cuirassiers .. however are getting low in representation and new French cavalry must be on the horizon. That said .. what could be better than the Big Men on Bigger black horses :p

What we need is a poll .. perhaps some kind member will help, it would be interesting to see what NAP fans are craving for, cavalry wise ? .. aside from the obvious ... more Napoleonics. :D :D :D

Best regards

Second to the suggestion! :D We need more Brit horse! H Grenadiers or Lifeguards would be very welcome. Hopefully K&C will "turn to" in this area. Other companies are starting to fill the void.

Wonderful collection Grognard! That heavy cavalry looks impressive closing on the square.

Not TS but still Napoleonics...;)

Thanks for taking the time to post those photos, you've got a terrific collection, love the gun and limber combo you have and also, those two spectacular figures on the book shelf, just don't pull one of those books out without looking first.....;)

Also really am impressed with the artifacts and also the two medals, great items to have for sure.

Congrats on a brilliant collection........

Thanks Warrior and Terp for the nice words about my collection (and it's only a small part of it :))!
I am still working on the wall plate for the second gun since its size and weight is a challenge. It's a full size - not firing - replica of Napoleon's double barrel flintlock pistol made in 1806 by Jean-Baptiste Vaquette de Gribeauval. The first one (already on the wall plate) is also a full size replica of the standard Napoleonic 1806 flintlock Pistol (made by de Gribeauval too). Both have working mechanisms. I have also the powder horn that comes with them :).
These beauties are made in Spain and I will post more pics when I am done with the plate work.

Just keeping the thread going.:D

A couple of old photo`s of a table top dio ( playtime ) for you to take a look at .
I find myself always making little battle scene while i`m dusting the display cabinets.

I tend to spend more time doing this, then the cleaning i should be doing.

I would encourage you to do more cleaning... and still allocate more time to the dios :D

We should always do what we like more, because we will be happier and the results will be better :)

Just to keep the fun going - here are some other pics of my Napoleonic Collection. How many of you also collect the Hachette Figures to go with your K&C guys ??

I'm one other Napoleonic Collectot who adds Hachette Figures to my Napoleonic Dioramas. I've got about 5 so far and always on the lookout for a few more of the specailty figures.

Like you I've got a few Marshals added to NA158 set, and also use Del Prado too, but only the British figures beacuse they are few and far between.

John
