KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- JUNE 2018 (2 Viewers)

Getting the dispatches is a privilege, to see in advance what’s coming. To complain about how it’s done is just dumb. Andy does it as a favor to us (and yes it helps pre-sales).

People need to remember this is fun and these are glorified toys.

Zach,

I think it's reasonable to have construed from Andy's announcement that there would be a D-Day figure tie in with the dispatches being moved back to 6-06.
Ok, perhaps it's dumb to complain about it though, point taken. :smile2:

Oh, I agree re d-day. I too thought there’d be figures. I was referring to the complaining.

ic, got it, thanks :smile2:

When K&C revisited market garden they waited until the 17th Septmeber of that month before theyrrounced the releases. Just pointing out that they have done that before.

Complaining about dispatches is a time honored Treefrog tradition! :wink2:

I see the JN040 Ha-Go Light Tank is on the retirement list....could any owners of this tank kindly share opinions of it? thanks

Hi Joe.
It fits nicely with displays of K&C Japs and Pacific Marines as it does with the TG Japs and Aussies. Who knows what K&C have planned for the future, but as is the way of things it's bound to be dearer !

Steve

Andy; I really like the movable/removable figure head feature. I hope you expand this innovative feature to other lines. Roman heads on Gallic spears would be a neat possibility! Japanese doing seppuku would be another.

I have one and just ordered another as (to my dismay ..:redface2:) it was on the dreaded "retirement list."
If you have any specific questions I can answer them for you, or take some photos and post them in a thread.

Steve,
Thanks for the info. I don't have any Japanese tanks and thought maybe this is the one to get. I like the color scheme.

Larry,

That tells me a lot that you've ordered two of these now.:smile2: I don't have any specific questions, but thanks for asking and for offering to post images. But please don't go though that effort on my behalf. I'm just looking for general feelings of those who own one (or two) :wink2:.

Great compact tank and nicely painted Joe. This is mine. Sapper.

It was logical to assume that there was going to be D-Day releases because Andy announced that releases were to be announced on June 6 to commemorate D-Day. That's really all we are saying. Cheers

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your thoughts and my apology if you felt 'misled'...As stated, I got back into the K&C office on Monday 4 June and I had a choice should we release Dispatches on the following day, Tuesday 5 June or perhaps Thursday 7 June...As D.Day's anniversary is 6 June I thought let's utilise that day as for many collectors it's "Decision Day" when they decide what they might buy in the coming month. Pure and simple.

it's also worth remembering that K&C is among the most reliable companies out there when it comes to releasing new product when we say it will be released... and communicating additional information and previews on a very regular basis with our collectors both here on this Forum and elsewhere and through many dozens of private emails.

As I've learned many times over...We are never going to please all of the people all of the time...So, if I can please the majority at least some of the time I'll live with that!

Best wishes and happy collecting,
Andy.

It was “logical to assume”. We are not on the USS Enterprise.

Ironic having WWII collectors complaining about not having enough releases for a single month... How do you think those of us who collect British Colonial feel with the recent Britains "crisis"? {sm4}{sm4}

have not seen a Persian in 4 over 4 years...
March of 2014...
