Great series of camel sets. Quite like the red and the blue/gray uniform jackets. Will make a very impressive and varied display. Camels everywhere. ^&grin -- Al
This camel set in my collection is Hiriart's set number 1321 British Artillery on Camels, Khartoum, 1885. This is a popular set that I have ordered for eight to ten other collectors, too. I also have two other Hiriart camel sets (World War I Turks and Australians in Palestine) in my collection, but I only have stock photos of them, so I won't post them here.
I have that set, many thanks to Mike, and it's a beauty. Chris
That is a very nice set Mike, I have a similar one from LL, thanks for posting the pictures of your great Camel Corps sets :salute::
Cheers

Hi Mike, one thing I've noticed about these Hiriart figures (apart from the old Britains look about them) is the neatness and finishing of the painting.
You have a very wonderful collection. {bravo}}

Great and unusual set Mike. TommyHere is another desert themed Hiriart camel set I have in my collection: 1202 Fort Saganne based on the French movie of the same name (which I have not seen).
Great and unusual set Mike. Tommy
Here is a photo of my Hiriart set 1292 Camellato Sahariano, Italia. As the name implies, this is an Italian Camel Corps set.
