Moe's JJD Model Collection (3 Viewers)

Really fine shots of the D-7, Moe. The close-up of the mechanic working on the nose really highlights the outstanding detail of the aircraft. Beautiful figures, accessories, truck, and especially that D-7. -- Al

Al, the first time that I saw the Udet D.VII was in some pics of the LTSS that Roy posted here. I distinctly recall thinking that all that exposed powerplant was calling out for a nice mechanic. Now, I’ve got one!:D

Both you guys are better photographers than I am! Thanks, though, for the encouragement. It helps keep the camera clicking.:)

You do yourself a great disservice. Your work is wonderful and something I aspire to.

Moe, what a perfect setting with the water and sky blended for the carrier scene. And masterful placement of the aircraft and figs. A joy to view. Chris

This afternoon, it struck me that an illuminated display in one of my cabinets reminded me of "Night at the Museum:"

Moe...
that is so pretty...
your lighted display is the way these collections were meant to be displayed and admired...
very nice...

That is one beautiful display and a heck of a darn good job in photographing the setup.

The lighting does make a big difference. You captured that with crisp, clear images and interesting vantage points for the pctures.

Really nice collection of John's Pre-War USS Saratoga aviation series.

Took some pics of ACE-50, Jenkins' LFG Roland C.IIa "Wallfisch:"

Can't post all of the images, so I compiled the rest into a slideshow (as had become Moe's M.O.;)):

Strikes me as a well executed replica of an interesting aircraft.

Beautiful collection of JJ planes Moe. I wish I could afford them all {bravo}}

Really sharp looking pictures of a very nice model. Very impressed with how well the pilots fit and look in the plane. -- Al

Well, we’ve got a two-seater. However, I doubt that we’ll ever see my favorite. The Brisfit is just too complex for Jenkins’ current price-point:

Look at all that rigging, struts, and all. And it’s almost as big as the Corsair...but the wings are NOT detachable. The box would be enormous. In other words, it would cost a fortune to ship.:redface2:
