Nice painting. Who made the wagon?
Thanks
Benjamin

They look like they are MHSP a French maker.

More info here and the complete catalogue http://www.mokarex.fr/index_mhsp_uk.html

I have painted a couple of sets of these for a local collector and have them myself.

Yes Obee is right they are Atlas MHSP. I found them on ebay along with a few of the figures also but I don,t like the way they sell them. They break up the set into pieces and sell them seperate so you have one set with the back of the wagon or forge only and have to find the front wheels and horses and figures in another set and I,m still missing parts I can,t find! Kinda sucks the way they are sold! The wagon and forge are nice pieces though.

Thanks guys for the information and link. I appreciate it.
Best wishes,
Benjamin

You can see more of the figures here where I have painted the whole range in gloss for a local collector and some for myself in matte.

Great wagon sets John. Thanks for sharing. The only wagon that I have is the Larrey ambulance that John Jenkins made as part of his Peninsular War series.

I made my own ammo caisson wagon years ago out of wood and some plastic parts. 025-2.jpg001.jpg003-1.jpg010-1.jpg013.jpg

WOW .... that a great looking caisson ..... looks like you have used Italeri horses and parts for some of that.
Is the wagon by Italeri too??

I was most fortunate to see an original one in the German Military Museum in Dresden a few years back.

It was dated 1809 and interesting to see the colour of the paintwork. I was kept in low light, but the paint colour was still visible.
Note the ammo box under the caisson too and the spike at the back to hold a spare wheel.

Yes they are Italeri! They made some nice wagons and caissons! The artillary sets were nice and I converted a whole artillary battery with them. 028-2.jpg031-2.jpg037.jpg041.jpg047-1.jpg

Great job on making the Caisson and dioramas !:salute::

Thanks! These are all old pics from awhile back, I have a lot of old threads on here of my work although my photo bucket account has expired and the photos are hard to see now. These are just a few of the many pics I had posted on a this artillary project I did awhile back, there were a few threads on these with pics of the conversions in the ruff stages. https://forum.treefrogtreasures.com...eonic-french-artillery-conversions&highlight=
