A few years ago they tried to bring back the X-Files with the original cast. The first year didn't do to badly but the second year crashed. It wasn't the same Mulder and Scully, they weren't the cool young hip FBI agents anymore.

I liked Robert Patrick's (Terminator T-1000) character FBI Agent John Doggett that featured in Seasons 8 & 9, a more serious and convincing character than the later 'Mulder' IMHO

And of course, same with every rehashed franchise they have to change the characters to Black/Asian and or Female. This occured when they released the Halo TV Series, when the fans complained bitterly the producers claimed, oh this is just an 'alternative' version of events, or 'parallel universe', what a load of krap, no wonder 'go woke/go broke' keeps happening.

My first thought as well when I saw the picture.
