KING CONAN---Arnold Schwarzenegger, 78, has started intensive physical training to prepare for the movie he described as, “With KING CONAN, its a great old story that Conan was forty years as King and now he gets forced out of the kingdom and there’s conflict, of course, but somehow he comes back and there’s all kinds of madness, violence, magic and creatures and stuff like that.” Christopher McQuarrie is the writer/director.
GANGSTERS---sources claim Sylvester Stallone and Quentin Tarantino are developing an untitled six-part miniseries about 1930s gangsters that will be “a full array of gangster elements: shootouts, boxing, showgirls, brass bands, etc.”. Tarantino will be the writer and co-director with Stallone, who will not star in the miniseries. A source said, "the series is set in the '30s, and it will be super authentic. It'll be shot in black and white, using 1930s cameras."
MIAMI VICE---Michael B. Jordan is rumored to want $18 million to star in the movie based on the cop tv series after receiving an Academy Award. This would be double what co-star Austin Butler will be paid.
STAR TREK---William Shatner celebrated his 95th birthday on March 22 by posting about his smoking habit, “At 95, I’m still smokin’! I’ve learned two things: Never waste a good cigar. Never trust anyone who says you should ‘act your age.’”
THE MADISON---Matthew Fox said he is leaving the YELLOWSTONE spinoff series because he did not want to spend a lot of years on the same project.
FAST FOREVER---Vin Diesel confirmed that Michael Lesslie (THE HUNGER GAMES: THE BALLAD OF SONGBIRDS & SNAKES) will write the script for the last movie in the franchise.
BAD HAND---Elizabeth Banks will star in the horror movie about a kindergarten teacher is a hit-and-run victim a week before her wedding which leads to her right hand seeking revenge.

TRIVIA---Earl Hamner is best known for creating the Emmy-winning family tv series THE WALTONS. Before THE WALTONS, Hamner wrote eight episodes of THE TWILIGHT ZONE.
