Hi Ray,
your collection grows more and more fantastic, great pleasure watching, thanks for sharing
Take care

Thank you Wolfgang, I'm having a great time putting these all together and much of what you see comes from Europe
These Uniform prints originate from Germany but I find them through out the European Union, I'm not even clear how many individual prints in how many series but I really enjoy them.

I Love the crusaders!
Thanks Zach, I actually prefer the Crusader scenario to the flashier European Knight that I think most people are drawn to. Though more subdued due to the pious nature of there quest, on the European side. I believe the Saracen/ Muslum figures more than make up the bling!
Ray

the Saracens make a colorful group...

Mikey likes color...^&grin...

you are accumulating a ton of nice structures...

they really blend well with the figures...

Actually Mike, since the vast majority of my scenics are paper, just a few LBS.!
But I do want to get down to San Antonio and pick up K&C's latest Egypt scenics, there size works really well with these 30mm figures to give a giant dynastic feeling to the settings

This is a group going under the glass was put together over 4 -5 years, 2 different artists in 3 groups, Austrian Grenadiers, not sure about the red background, kinda bright.^&cool
Ray

After posting some action pics with these 2 sets I reorganized these sets together of Voltiguers and Cossacks as the artists styles are more compatable, once I've finished "Deglazing" the other combo I'll post those as well.
Ray

Here's the other group of cossacks doing an overrun, this time French line Artillery, these figures are all done by the same artist.
Ray

Was going thru the collection and I couldn't believe I hadn't put these under glass, problem solved! Babylonians!
Ray

Several people have mentioned the paper buildings but I actually make more than buildings with paper. These ships are something I built but don't really have a setting or crews for them, there still fun though. Both the Cog and what I use as a Dhow I built with sails down for being in port, I amy so them again with different coloring and sails. I just finished the Cog and need to trim the cardboard connecting extensions.
Ray

A couple of Wild West pieces.

Great stuff Ray. Inspired by your handsome Stagecoach - I'm trying to get something similar out of Zinnfiguren Strassburg. My new buddy Erhardt and I are trying to work out a deal that will let me get my mitts on both a Stagecoach - and a bunch of mounted Apache braves - intent on some hair-raising fun!! We're going through the usual hoops of them encouraging me to make me send a hugely expensive British Bank Transfer (No Way Hose!) - and me trying to make them take a Paypal hit (Nein Danke!).

Ho hum - we'll get there somehow.

Here's the link to see what I'm after: jb

Wild West pieces are very cool. That's not a subject matter I've seen much of in flat figures. Thanks for sharing!

Hey JB,
Ya, castings can be a real pain to get, no doubt. Love the apaches, I'd seen them finished and lost out as the Wild West is a very popular subject with the Germans, the Mexican Banditos are very cool as well. Your Stagecoach is way cooler, more action! if your looking for US Cavalry from the Indian wars I recommend the folks below... much easier and they also have a couple of Indian and Yankee scouts.
By the way Gringo, it's Jose! ^&grin

Well, I've always called you Ray - but if you prefer Jose - okay:D

Yes - I've seen the banditos - might be some for the future. I do like the Stagecoach - reminds me very much of the scene from the film of the same name. I think we've worked out how - letter in the post to Erhardt already. If succesful - will go in my stash for NZ.

Thanks for the link - looks like several from the ACW could be painted up as US Cavalry - maybe to chase the Apaches - who are chasing the coach. That's some more maybe for the future.

Cool - muchos gracias amigo - via con dios. jb el Gringo.;)

Hey Zach, How's things? actually there is quite a bit of possibilities with the American Indian wars with flats, the really well done stuff demands a serious premium as the Germans love the wild west! Have seen many plains indian camps with beautiful teepee and hunting scenes. Problem for me is I can't collect it all! even though I try. :rolleyes2:

Just to be clear JB, while they have a great selection of American Civil war, there are figures specific to the American Indian wars.
Ray or Jose or whoever...

Okay, Ray - got it - I'll need to take a careful look before ordering any from this source. Good that they are Paypal friendly too, though.

I can vouch for them as I have purchased several sets from them using Paypal, I have a couple of there US Cavalry indianwars figures painted, I'll dig them out and post some pics with stagecoach.
Ray

I've often talked about the seemingly endless variety of subjects in the flat world and I am always looking for the something unique, for me this fits the bill.
It is what I believe is a WWI german Railgun, looks to be some sort of coastal gun as it looks to be manned by naval personel you'll notice the Krupp name on the side of the railcar. there was a couple of other pieces in this auction, some better, some worse.
Pretty cool Ehh??

Just had a result ,Ray - on the Stagecoach with a heap big bunch of Apache braves chasing. My new chum Erhardt sent me a few pics in advance as painting guides ( for later in the year).

Here's a pic of the coach - painted - and some of the braves he sent me - in advance of him posting them off tomorrow. jb
