This is my current Wars of the Roses display shelf which contains 35 sets and 51 figures. Still not caught up on this range but getting close. Of course with John consistently releasing more and more each month, keeping up with this range has been a challenge . . . .

Thanks Wayne . . . WoR is perfect for a mass display . . . besides a mat with lots of arrows this display needs more mountd knights and some casualties . . .

Lots of action and lots of color, a winning combination. Chris

Thank you Chris . . . . The melee action poses and the colorful banners and uniforms is what attracted me to this series. It's also so far removed from the ACW and WWI that it has been very refreshing for me to collect . .

Lots of waving colourful flags really adds to the scene. Robin.

Thanks Robin . . . The banners are beautiful . . . my favorite on is the Red Dragon banner of Henry Tudor . . .

Agree. All the varied banners really add to the attraction of the series, which is very colorful to start with. -- Al

Thank you Al . . . The one big draw back for me in trying to catch up with this series is that I have neglected my Great War and Knights of the Sky collection . . . John just keeps releasing such fantastic items . . . very hard to keep up with it all . .

The white cabinet shelf and background brings out the colors of this series tremendously! I am not there yet as far as a diorama but slowly getting there! This series has become my main collecting interest at this point. Great display, contrats!! :salute::

Thanks . . . As a point of reference the shelf is 36-inches long and 14-inches deep . . . . .

Your display looks real nice Mike. That's great that you are almost caught up on all the pieces in this range.

As they others have said, it's very colorful and looks beautiful on those white shelves.

Thank you very much Mark.

New WOR figures will be introduced this weekend at the London show....hoping for more mounted knights, artillery and casualties.....

Thanks for sharing Mike :) Every WOR figure is really a work of art (IMHO John's best so far), but put together in a display like yours, it just looks absolutely amazing!

Thank you Niels. JJD's WoR range is perfect for mass displays and really works well on shelving . . . . Nothing but "eye candy" . . . . .

These lads showed up at my doorstep this morning . . . All are very impressive looking, especially the new Bannerman w/Battle Standard of John de Vere, 13th Earl of Oxford . . . I really like the green and white livery with the red rose on the back . . . . This range gets more and more colorful at each month's new releases . . . .

My shelf display now with the addition of the new arrivals pictured above . . . .

Mike, great minds think alike. I expressed the same like of the color combinations, right down to the red rose, in a post over on the Wars of the Roses Knights heading. It was expressed about HLanc 08, a figure you have in this post.:wink2:^&cool -- Al

Thanks Al . . . . I did see your post and concurred with your feelings toward the green and white tunics with the red rose on the back . . . . the red dragon on the left breast is also a nice touch.
