N.f.l. 2010 season (2 Viewers)

It's going to be a bit chilly in Chicago. Not sure who has the advantage. That field they play on is the worst in the NFL. It looks like a dying sponge.

I heard it's going to be in 20s in Chicago with no wind whereas the high tomorrow in Pittsburgh will be 16 but since the game will be played at night, it will be probably be in the single digits. Brrr!

I want to see how many of the players wear short sleeves-bare arms. I don't know how they do that. Maybe they just get so numb that they can't feel anything. Still, I would think hitting anyone or getting hit would hurt, a lot. -- Al

the benches are warmed and they have those warm jackets to wear too. It makes it all relative.

If I was getting paid millions, I could tough it out for a couple hours. :D

After Seattle over New Orleans and the Jets over the Patriots, I am not sure I should do any prognosticating, but here goes:

Jets vs. Steelers is too close to call - I would say if the Steelers win the turnover battle the Steelers win, if the Jets win the turnover battle they win. I am going to guess Poloumalou gets a sack/forced fumble in the 4th quarter and the Steelers win 21-17.

Packers vs. Bears should also be a very close, hard fought defensive battle. I see Cutler throwing 2 interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, and Aaron Rogers making a few key first downs while extending plays with his feet, as the Packers win 24-10.

Win or lose at this point, who knows, I just hope a good game. I can't complain as the Steelers are usually battling this time of year, so we are always entertained. Now, do I hope we win, YES, that said, too close to call and anything can happen in the playoffs.

On another note, I do very much dislike Rex Ryan, so this would be a sweet win. No reason to be a loudmouth, in my opinion, like it or not, no class in that. Winning with class seems to be a lost art in today's sports world and that is a shame.

Brad I know you are a Jets fan and there is plenty of class on the field (Jason Taylor, Revis, LT, etc., but unfortunately for me, 2 of them crowd out the class - Ryan and Cromartie. Anyhow, good luck to you, in the end, barring any referre shenanigans, the most deserving team will win.

Al,

I don't think Sammy would be upset. We all know that this is just fun.

It's 11 in Pitt right now, with 8 the low so I suppose it will be around 8 tonight. Lucky the game is not in Chester, where I live: it's -3 right now

Well since my poor team is obviously not close to the hunt, I would really like to see the Packers go all the way; Rogers is a class act and the Pack has shown how tough it can be this year by making the playoffs with a total of about 6 starters per game out for injuries, including Rogers. Their record is very deceiving since their schedule was quite tough (contrast New Orleans) and they lost by no more that 4 points. Frankly I can hardly believe the Bears made it this far but funny things can sure happen with these games, as we have seen with the Seahawks, and yes, the Jets. Pittsburgh is a tough team and has shown the ability to win with all kinds of adversity. The Jets (sorry Brad), I think were very lucky to make it past the Pats. All this said, like Louis, my well considered and supported thoughts probably mean we will see the Bears and Jets in the Big show.

The Bears look awful so far. It's hard to believe they have home field in the NFC championship game. Their offense flat out stinks.

It's Cutler - he's halfway to my 2 interception prediction, and he could easily have 3 picks so far.

As expected, Aaron Rogers is killing the Bears with his arm and his feet. He's already rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown at the half. I thought the Bears defense would keep the game closer, but if it wasn't for a tip by a receiver resulting in a lucky pick, the Packers would be up 3 scores at the half.

I think Rogers is getting ready to Tell Brady, Manning and Roethlisberger to make some room at the top for him.

I don't think Rodgers has looked that great in the second half so I think the door is not quite open yet to the club.

He certainly has my vote. Don't forget, he is playing in a 2 concussion season. Peppers, IMO, should have been tossed from the game.

Never had a sense that anyone on the Bears thought they could win. Even with their D playing well. A very flat performance. Cutler looked relieved that he didn't have to play in the second half.

Bears were lucky to get as close as they did, what with a 3rd string Qb. Packers were lucky to win against a 3rd stringer. Not too impressive an effort by the offenses, but I did enjoy the defense. Beginning to like the AFC chances in the SB. -- Al
