N.f.l. 2010 season (1 Viewer)

I hear the Jets are negotiating with some guy named Joe Namath about coming out of retirement to be QB. If Favre can do it, why not Namath? Even as he approachs 70 years of age, Joe would still be a position upgrade.;) -- Al

So-so day on the early games. Ravens looked clueless on offense again and lost. On the up side, the Cowgirls lost and so did the Drama Queen.;) -- Al

How about those Steelers.......2 and 0, who would have thunk it, not ME!

Seriously, Defense looks phenomenal even if the Offense STINKS and Special Teams is WORSE. We tried to give that one back.

On to the bright news, we are down to 2 games left and 1 QB out of 4 still standing.

I never thought I would be so happy to see Big Ben soon.

BUT, all in all, even if we lose the next 2, I am a happy guy!!!

And about the Ravens, that was awful, just pure crappola from Flacco. They need to get that fixed quick.

George thought baseball was boring and that football was the more exciting game. Wonder what he thinks now after today's Jets win?:D

Well, I have to give credit where credit is due; Rex Ryan really is a genius, man oh man did his team come to play tonight, all of that bluster from him came true tonight, those Jets look like a lock to win it all this year, what a high powered offense and yes sir, Sanchez is the real deal, picked up right where he left off last year.

Wait, they lost 10-9 and had a grand total of SIX first downs;..................ok then, nevermind.....................

George, I know that you meant to say this, this week:D Michael

I think all the preseason hype about the Jets is true, wreckingball Rex Ryan with his fist pump after every positive play really IS a leader of men, the Jets with "Sanchize" at the helm (did you see the way he shredded the vaunted Patriots defense today, WOW, what a performance!!) are now shoe ins for a waltz to the Super Bowl, they'll EASILY go through the rest of their schedule now like a hot knife through butter and finish the season 15-1 on their way to their first Super Bowl win in 40 years...............

That catch today by Moss was just sick, sick, S-I-C-K over "Reavis Island", who proceeded to blow out his hamstring in the process.

The old Patriots under Charlie Weis would have attacked whatever ham and egger replaced Reavis and torched the Jets the entire second half.

But, these are not the old Patriots, they stink.

That's what I think.

Well Tom, Flacco did throw for more yards then the total offense of the Steelers combined yards, so yea, he pretty much blew it on this game and I hope it was a hang over from the Monday nite win, to start 2 games on the road against Cinncy AFC north Champs last year, and the Jets in thier home opener I'm happy with a split, we had every chance to win it today, you turn it over 4 times that ain't gonna happen, see ya in two weeks...Sammy

Sammy,
Seriously, Flacco doesn't look like the wonder kid he did. They should have pulled him, they have a great back up. Would of should of could of, mark these words, they plull Flacco and they win this game today. Also, regarding the Jets game, Ravens shot themselves in the foot, they should have blown the Jets out the way the Defense played. All I know is Baltimore has a ton of weapons, they better start using them if they want to make it to the Bowl.

We may not beat the Ravens on the scoreboard in week 4, but if the Steeler D fires on all cylinders, I guarantee Flacco will not feel real good after the game.

I live in Baltimore and have had to hear for 4 weeks now how the STeelers will be lucky to win a game in the first 4.....................well, at this point in the season I am happy to gloat that we are 2 and 0 and Bmore is 1 and 1. So for at least 2 weeks, this will be fun on this end! And, I think I just might be pleasantly surprised this season once Big Ben is back in charge.

I knew the Steelers would be good this season, told everybody at work, they caught every bad break possible last year, with or with out pervernburger, they will be there at the end, I think Cinncy will fall late in the year, and it will be another Raven/Steeler game late in the year to see who wins the north, only thing good about our schedule the last 4 out of 6 are at home, trust me Tom I'm figuring the first meeting to be like 6-3 if that:)... Raven win of course...Sammy

Aren't you supposed to be hung over after a loss, not a win?

The Ravens have been looking for an offense since Christ was in a crib, the Patriots torched the Bengals last week and the Ravens have better talent on that side of the ball than the Patriots do, Boldin, Whosyourmamma, Stallworth, Rice, Heap, on and on it goes, the problem is Flacco, he stinks, plain and simple.

Ray Lewis is going to have a nuclear meltdown at some point; even without Ed Reed, their defense is just sick and with a half decent offense, the Ravens should have at least two more Super Bowl wins than they do...............

see ya in two weeks...Sammy

Final score, Ravens 2, Steelers 0, what a barnburner that game is going to be, two teams that can't get out of their own way offensively.

Who are the Steelers going to turn to now as their QB, slinging Sammy Baugh?

Your kill'n me George, well we finally get a home game against the Browns if we can't fix the problems next week we are in trouble, Flacco will be fine, no need to flip out yet...Sammy

And then there are the Rams, someone please help me!
And to think I was going to make sure I left OTSN early enough next Sunday in time to get home and catch the 3PM Rams game.
Well hockey season starts in a few weeks, that will help.

I don't get what is going on there Sammy, help me with this one, how is he going backward after his briliant rookie season, real head scratcher.

Your defense is just sick, just remember the old saying offense wins games, defense wins championships, how many Super Bowl Champs had mediocre defenses, other than the Colts afew years ago, it rarely happens.......

Looks like you could have used Joe Willie today just as the Colts could have 40 years ago :D

Ravens should beat us and I say should, but who knows, this season has started as best as I can hope, but boy its a head scratcher.

We have the Defense to win it all, but our offense couldn't run its way out of a geriatric ward.

If your offense is stuck in a geriatric ward, may I suggest that they stop by Brett Favre's room for a few moments. He might be lonely.

Don't know George, one series Flacco can look like Montana like the 30 yard bomb to Mason today, then he can look like Ryan Leaf the very next series, I do have faith he will become more reliable as the season goes on but he has to definitly step it up right now, 5 ints in 2 games and a fumble ain't gonna win you alot of support, but I'll hold onto my life preserver for the moment:)...Sammy

That's it! A reference to SBIII. The horror. Now the nightmares start again. Oh! Oh! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....:D -- Al

Not so happy this AM after the 'Skins managed to blow a 17 point lead and lose in overtime. Sure wasn't a dull game thought. I think the two QB's both threw for over 900 yards, combined. The defenses stayed home. Would rather have WON a dull game, sort of like last week over the Cowgirls. Boy, I hate when we lose after leading big. -- Al
