Well, I have to give credit where credit is due; Rex Ryan really is a genius, man oh man did his team come to play tonight, all of that bluster from him came true tonight, those Jets look like a lock to win it all this year, what a high powered offense and yes sir, Sanchez is the real deal, picked up right where he left off last year.
Wait, they lost 10-9 and had a grand total of SIX first downs;..................ok then, nevermind.....................
George thought baseball was boring and that football was the more exciting game. Wonder what he thinks now after today's Jets win?
How about those Steelers.......2 and 0, who would have thunk it, not ME!
Seriously, Defense looks phenomenal even if the Offense STINKS and Special Teams is WORSE. We tried to give that one back.
On to the bright news, we are down to 2 games left and 1 QB out of 4 still standing.
I never thought I would be so happy to see Big Ben soon.
BUT, all in all, even if we lose the next 2, I am a happy guy!!!
And about the Ravens, that was awful, just pure crappola from Flacco. They need to get that fixed quick.
TD
Well Tom, Flacco did throw for more yards then the total offense of the Steelers combined yards, so yea, he pretty much blew it on this game and I hope it was a hang over from the Monday nite win, to start 2 games on the road against Cinncy AFC north Champs last year, and the Jets in thier home opener I'm happy with a split, we had every chance to win it today, you turn it over 4 times that ain't gonna happen, see ya in two weeks...Sammy
Sammy,
Seriously, Flacco doesn't look like the wonder kid he did. They should have pulled him, they have a great back up. Would of should of could of, mark these words, they plull Flacco and they win this game today. Also, regarding the Jets game, Ravens shot themselves in the foot, they should have blown the Jets out the way the Defense played. All I know is Baltimore has a ton of weapons, they better start using them if they want to make it to the Bowl.
We may not beat the Ravens on the scoreboard in week 4, but if the Steeler D fires on all cylinders, I guarantee Flacco will not feel real good after the game.
I live in Baltimore and have had to hear for 4 weeks now how the STeelers will be lucky to win a game in the first 4.....................well, at this point in the season I am happy to gloat that we are 2 and 0 and Bmore is 1 and 1. So for at least 2 weeks, this will be fun on this end! And, I think I just might be pleasantly surprised this season once Big Ben is back in charge.

Final score, Ravens 2, Steelers 0, what a barnburner that game is going to be, two teams that can't get out of their own way offensively.
Who are the Steelers going to turn to now as their QB, slinging Sammy Baugh?
Your kill'n me George, well we finally get a home game against the Browns if we can't fix the problems next week we are in trouble, Flacco will be fine, no need to flip out yet...Sammy
I hear the Jets are negotiating with some guy named Joe Namath about coming out of retirement to be QB. If Favre can do it, why not Namath? Even as he approachs 70 years of age, Joe would still be a position upgrade. -- Al

We have the Defense to win it all, but our offense couldn't run its way out of a geriatric ward.
TD
I don't get what is going on there Sammy, help me with this one, how is he going backward after his briliant rookie season, real head scratcher.
Your defense is just sick, just remember the old saying offense wins games, defense wins championships, how many Super Bowl Champs had mediocre defenses, other than the Colts afew years ago, it rarely happens.......
That's it! A reference to SBIII. The horror. Now the nightmares start again. Oh! Oh! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... -- AlLooks like you could have used Joe Willie today just as the Colts could have 40 years ago
