N.f.l. 2010 season (2 Viewers)

Why didn't the Ravens sign Leinart? They guy was available for nothing after AZ hosed him (the Cards took a well deserved beating this weekend). He has potential and can't be any worse than Flacco. Too late now though.

The Redskins are not a very good football team. How else do you explain being crushed by the NFL's worst team, the Rams? At least the Ravens won, though I feel thay should have won bigger. Next week against the Steelers will tell the tale for them. Hey, anyone notice that Vick is playing lights out? Go figure, I didn't think he could come back but he has proved me wrong so far. Been a weird season so far. How is KC 3-0? I sure hope the Redskins can kick it up a notch next game. -- Al

Who would of thunk the Lions 0-3, not in a million years :D Go Lions :(

Rams Win, Rams Win, Rams Win.
Look out Joe the mighty Rams are coming to Detroit in a few weeks, hide the women and children!

I think they are not a good football team YET but they have most of the pieces now. The O line is still a WIP and has no depth, as shown in part this weekend. For receivers they only have one number two level guy and one great tight end; the rest are questionable. The running game at least made it over 100 yards finally, even with the O line injury suffle but 3 trips to the red zone without a TD is not so good. The Defense should be good but is allowing way too many big plays; not sure if it is corner or free safety to blame. They still seem to be learning the new schemes but lossing to the Rams after doing so well against the Texans is depressing. I share your hope about next week. With the Eagles soaring, they can't afford to slip behind this early, especially with the teams (Eagles, Vikings, Packers, Colts....) they have to play yet this year.

Post game show was not pretty. Lot's of complaining about the coach and his decision not to play Portis in the second half. Couple more ugly losses and the ship will start to go down.

What post game show was that? If you mean the talking sports heads, well opinions are like what they are and those experts are not making any decisions that count at the moment.;)

Okay...:D:D:D

the Cowboys won a game...

we're not going 0-16 this year...:p

averaging 392 yards a game...

it's hard to believe they only have 54 points...

but...that's what happens when you have mistakes...

Finally!!!! we (my Ravens) beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh!!!!!! it was a good ol AFC North slugfest, but glad to see we came out on top in this one...Sammy

Sammy, won't take anything away, we Steelers had the chance to put the Ravens away a few times and didn't get it done. That said, I look forward to the second meeting as we did pretty darn good without Big Ben utilizing our 4th string QB!

It should be an interesting season if both teams continue to play well.

Redskins held on to win (thank goodness the Eagle receiver has bricks for hands). Came out and played good ball for a half and then held on for the win. Still not a good team but not horrible, either. Found a new running back to go with Portis and maybe a new receiver, too. Ravens won, thus making it a good day locally. -- Al

It was a good and fair win; I think that hail Mary was a long shot even for a good receiver. Right now the Skins are winning the games they weren't supposed to win (apart from that close one with Houston) and losing the games they should win (Rams). Since this season they have many more games they should lose with their schedule, that could bode well. The new running back and receiver would be sure nice but much too soon to tell for either. Thank heavens for Cooley.

Wow, a fourth quarter comeback for an OT win against the Packers.:D:cool: The talking heads said the Skins were be totally outclassed in this match up and that the Packers would shatter the spread. I don't want to get carried away but here is another team the Skins were not supposed to beat. McNabb looks like he is finding his rhythm and Armstrong is starting to play like he was worth the draft pick.

Hooray! Finally did it to someone else. Terrific game. Reversed the previous 2nd half ineptitude for a big win. Skins defense is giving up yards but not points in their wins. Still find the lack of a running game a big worry but McNabb is a real QB. Hope he stays healthy because he is the offense. Skins have beat Dallas and Philly and now a high powered Green Bay. Who would have thought it?:D:D:D -- Al

Yes McNabb is the offense at the moment; so much for the run oriented Shannahan offense. Of course Rogers is the Packer's offense and they are a pick for the SB. At least the team is showing some heart in the critical moments; it looks like they are starting to believe they can win. You gotta love Landry and Lorenzo Alexander.

Great win over the Denver today, now my Ravens go to New England for a rematch of last years playoffs...I hope it's the same results:)...Sammy

Yes indeed. Sunday was a good day here in the Baltimore-DC corridor. Ravens won big, Redskins won (and played a good 2nd half for a change) and Dallas lost. Yes, a good day.:D -- Al

The Giants are keeping me guessing week to week. The last two weeks they looked good in beating good teams, the two weeks before that they looked undisciplined and anemic. Lucky for the Giants the rest of the NFC East is also having its ups and downs. It makes for an interesting season, to say the least.

Giants better watch out next weekend the mighty Lions are looking to extend their winning streak to a whopping 2 games :D Go Lions!

Most interesting game last night. It is sink or swim with Favre who was ineffective in the 1st half, and typically dangerous in the 2nd, before throwing his patented game ending interception. Congrats to the Jets for outlasting Favre. Next weeks game between the Vikes and Cowboys should have been a big game. One of them is going to leave the field 1-4 and who would have predicted that, at this point in the season? On a related subject, how long can the Cowboys stick with Wade Phillips? The team just doesn't produce for him. -- Al
