Only pickin' four but the line is Pats -8. Sorry to say but I think the Pats will cover. I went to school at GWU in the early 70s and worked there in the mid to late 70s and used to watch the Skins a lot. Kills me to see what's happened to them. Football is more interesting when the Skins are better. Never forget when Riggo scored against the Dolphins in the SB, or when he made those comments to Justice O'Connor :D
You are just being a nice guy by saying the Pats will cover. I think the Pats win by 28, unless they have an off day and then win by only 20. I sure wish the Skins were the Skins of the Gibbs days. It was a lot more interesting with th Skins in play during the playoffs. The Riggins 4th down TD run against the Dolphins in SB 17 is my all time favorite Skins memory. -- Al

U guys know that the Pats never won a game in Washington
Hope Brady changes that
I'm a big time Brady fan and i don't care what Rogers is doing in Green Bay

I think your hope will become reality without to much trouble on Sunday. Along with all their other troubles, the Skins just had 2 starters suspended for the rest of the season and our best defensive back will miss th game because of injury. The only chance the Skins have is if the Pats have a bad pre-game meal and come down with food poisoning.:rolleyes2: -- Al

Apparently the Browns coaching staff let Colt McCoy back in the game on Thursday without adequately checking him for concussion symptoms and guess what he has one. When are these idiots going to learn to protect the players.

That's an excellent question, Brad. I think that it would take little common sense to realize that a hit like McCoy took is going to result in a concussion, and probably for both players. With all the 'awareness' about concussions, this lapse is really inexcusable. -- Al

Redskins trail, already. That didn't take long. Grossman might well be the worst Qb I have ever seen. He has absolutely no situational awareness. What an idiot. -- Al

Yeah ok................27 seconds later, one horse@#$% penalty later on 3rd and two miles and a rinky dink high school trick play, it's now 17-14 Deadskins.

The Patriots have to be THE WORST 10-3 team in NFL history.

This game sure has me confused. If someone had told me the Skins would have a tie at the half against the Pats, I would have bet the house against it. One thing, Brady has not been very sharp, for whatever reason, fortunately for the Skins. -- Al

He's looked awful, missed two wide open targets in the end zone among other things.

As I had indicated 5 weeks ago, my head told me the 5-2 Giants would go 1-4 in the next 5 games, while my heart hoped for 3-2. Well, my head won out. Despite the fact that the Giants have lost 4 in a row, and are 6-6, in the weakest ever NFC East, they still hold their destiny, and their Coach's job, in their own hands.

Tonight is put up or shut up time for Coughlin's Giants. I have been calling for his firing since the year before they miraculously and fortuitously won the Super Bowl. If they beat the Cowboys tonight, they are in control of the Division, and have to win only 2 of their last 3 games to clinch a home playoff game and save Coughlin's job. If they lose tonight, they are for all intents and purposes eliminated, have lost 5 in a row, and will hopefully be bringing in Bill Cowher as their new head coach next year. So, while I will be pulling hard for the Giants tonight, if a loss costs Coughlin his job, so be it.

That's what I get for thinking we might get OT, a freak turnover. Game, set, match. That's my team. At least we put up a fight. Skins now a mighty 4-9. :( -- Al

The Bengals lose on the last play of the game to fall to 7-6

The Titans lose to the Saints to fall to 7-6

The Jets demolish the Chefs to go to 8-5

Your 6 seed in the AFC is................

The New York Football Jets.

UN@#$%ING REAL.

Yeah, the Bengals have cashed in and are out. Couple of real big comebacks that cut just short. Lion's trid to blow their game against the Vikes but the Vikes choked the last play, as did the Titans against the Saints. Both could have won on the last play but it wasn't to be. Hey, at least the pre-season SB favorites, the Eagles, still have a chance at a .500 season. -- Al

The Vikings find yet another way to lose. The way the game started (down 21-0) they should have had no chance.

Amazing.

You Got It Baby! Gang Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!

Actually Vick is back now for the Eagles, who lit up the Dolfins today, so good luck in Philly, then the Giants and Eli as well.

Won't be easy.

But fear not as Fatso will find a way to get it done.

Now, it won't be but they control their fate now. Not sure you could ask for more.

At Eagles
"Home" vs Giants, but Giants fans will take over the building
At Dolphins

If the Jets run the table, they deserve to make the playoffs.

Raiders going down in flames today too by the way, Jets could actually end up as the #5 seed and if the current standings hold, they'll be at Denver, Raiders would go to Houston, setting up....................................wait for it................................Jets at New England.
.

Tebow strikes again and with a little help from the Chicago running back who failed to get out of bounds in regulation and then coughed up the ball as Chicago was driving in OT, Denver/Tebow have won 8 in a row and now lead the AFC West. Band Wagon time! -- Al

God, I cannot believe the Bears lost that game. Unbelievable  that about cooks their playoff chances. Don't know I would show up in Chicago if I were Marion Barber. What a disappointing loss.

You cannot score 10 points and expect to beat Tebow.
