N.F.L. 21-22 Season (2 Viewers)

Brad:

Thanks for the laugh!

Game aside, I am still hoping for a commercial that tops the 1984 Apple Super Bowl commercial…….

Best,
Jason

Some of the ads have already been aired. There is one from some of the Breaking Bad stars for a snack company that seemed silly.

The Mets are airing one but it’s only being shown in the Tri State area.

Hurts is dominating this game so far. Absent the fumble, it is a blowout. I've never seen a QB sneak like the Eagles run. They are just blowing the Chiefs off the ball on every short yardage play. I would just run that over and over. A lot game to play, though.

The tide has turned. KC D has played better but can they keep the lead?

A terrible non-existent holding call may have cost the Eagles this game. I’m glad they lost but they were screwed.

A terrible call but the Chiefs were going to win that game. Andy Reid completely outcoached the Eagles. He embarrassed them in the second half. The best coaching job maybe in Super Bowl history. The Eagles defense was completely helpless in the second half. No pass rush all night. The NFL should be embarrassed by the field conditions with players slipping all over the place.

I thought all along it was either going to be an Iggles blowout (and as Doug mentioned, short that Hurts fumble, it should have been 24-7 at the half), or if it was a close game and Mahomes had the ball with not a lot of time left, he'd find a way to win it.

That outcome was the best possible thing for me; Eagles fans, that rubber faced ballbag owner Lurie, Bradley Cooper and Mike Trout go home losers in nutpunch fashion and the league looks like the clownshow they are between that ****ty field and that BS ticky tack call deciding the game.

And for the love of CHRIST will the league legislate out that rugby formation the Iggles use on short yardage situations, they used it AT LEAST 6 times in the game, it's complete BS.

The Iggles couldn't stop a gimp back there, zero sacks all night and no punts in the second half, I've never seen two more wide open recievers for TD's in my life, what the Hell were they doing on defense, what a meltdown.

The Eagles DB said it was holding. He was hoping they wouldn’t call it but they did.

That might have been one of the best commercials, too bad it was only shown in the Tri State area.

The part when Mr. Met tried to put on the headphones was great and the end with “the closer” was worth a laugh.

Favorite moment last was watch the local Philly reporters standing in empty sports bars after the game being asked by the talking heads about the atomsphere after the Eagles had just choked away that game. The atomsphere? Grim. But that is not an unusual mindset among Philly sports fans. The angriest in all of sports. The only other atomsphere in Philly is run for your life. I'm glad the season is over. Andy Reid should retire and go out on a high note.

It's great that Bradberry owned up to the holding call. He could have taken the low road and blamed the refs for this loss. Like most other NFL coaches and players have done this season. It was a questionable call that could have gone either way but it's done.

I still can’t figure out how the Eagles blew the game. They had bottled up Mahomes and the offense was on a roll. Their lines were pushing the Chiefs around. Give credit to KC for making the adjustments.

SO, Eagles fans caused a near riot in the streets of Filthy over anger at losing..................R u surprised? I wonder how many of the angers got mugged, that is a dangerous city, should have been a criminal's dream all those nutjobs, easy pickins.

And while the call was holding, I agree it didn't need to be called, that said, it was definitely holding and you could make an argument, had that not occurred, the pass would have been in play and not overthrown. So, a tough call but the right call. And as has been posted, not sure it mattered. Chiefs were a whole new team that second half and I give Mahomes a ton of credit, he is just flat out good and he played lights out that second half. Whatever pain med they gave him, it worked.

Back to the Eagles, scary fans, truly scary fans. One place I have NO desire to ever see a football game or baseball for that matter. The atmosphere sucks.

And of course my list of highlights:

A. Workday commercial with Ozzy, Joan Jett, Billy Idol and Paul Stanley - priceless
B. Ben Affleck Dunkin commercial
C. Eagles not winning :)
D. Chris Stapleton Star Spangled Banner - I liked that one
E. Babyface - America the Beautiful - ditto

Lowlights

Halftime - I guess you could say the production was good, but I just didn't find it entertaining or understand what was going on. I also am pretty sure her backing track was doing more work than she was which is a shame b/c I think she can sing quite well or at least I thought. Anyhow, I like it better when they would do halftimes that were themed to either movies, broadway, etc and included bands and dancers. Those shows were/are always a hit. It seems for whatever reason, you put a big name in the SB Halftime show and more times than not, it stinks.

Yes, the Eagles were the better team. Should have won this game. They were badly outcoached in that second half. The Philly defense never showed up. They were only saved in the first half because KC barely got to touch the ball. They were clueless and out position with all that motion. The KC receivers were running wide open. I thought they were playing USC for a minute. All the more amazing since Philly has a good defense. Here is what I write on the chalkboard if playing KC "STOP KELSE." How do teams not cover that guy? He is open on every pass play. This felt more like a college game to me for some reason.

Once their coach turned into a puddle during the national anthem, they were screwed.

The problem with Kelce is he's big enough to be a TE, but plays the position like a WR, so he's too big to put a corner on, so they put a LB or a safety on him, but they are too slow to cover him, he's a true hybrid and no one seems to have an answer as to how to stop him.
