N.F.L. 21-22 Season (1 Viewer)

Make it 24 in a row. The Ravens are champions of preseason. The NFL should have a trophy for that.

Love the way when Tucker kicks a FG, he does the "money" signal by rubbing his thumb and first two fingers together.

What a humble fella.

All stems from his rookie season when the NFL was using replacement refs early in the year and he kicked a Fg as time expired vs the Patriots that was wide right, but they called it good.

I've watched that replay more times than I can count, it drifted right and DID NOT go over the top of the goalpost, which for some half assed reason is how they judge whether it's good or not.

If it goes THROUGH the goalposts, it should be good, NOT over the top of one.

Total BS.

But hey Tucker, you just keep being you.

Interesting comments by Matthew Stafford about how difficult it is to bond with younger teammates. Noting that in past years guys would hang out together, but now the young guys spend all their time on their phones and playing video games. A new world. Pretty soon people will never leave their homes or have any interaction.

My Rams had a perfect record in the preseason. They lost every game and had the worst offense, defense, and special teams. Also a -75 point differential. The largest of any team. The second largest point differential belonged to Cleveland at -38. Bennett looks like a bust already. He will be a backup for a couple of seasons and kick around the league before washing out.

The Cowboys trade for Trey Lance was bizarre. Jerry Jones didn't even consult his head coach. That guy should resign in protest. And Dak can't be too happy. Not exactly a vote of confidence. Old Jerry has a reputation for success, but it is not justified by the performance of his team over the last decade. He is becoming a Dan Snyder-like victory cancer.

The way teams have deemphasized preseason games, I wouldn't worry about it, it's not a true measuring stick of how well teams will or won't do.

Lions take down the Chefs dynasty in KC, 🤣🤣 might be a crazy year to say the least.

Yeah; funny that.............when Mahomes, aka, the second coming has a bunch of tomato cans around him, he looks pretty mediocre.

All the comparisons to Brady need to stop; Brady was a 6th round draft pick/199th overall who elevated mediocre talent around him for 20 years and dragged them to 6 Super Bowl wins.............granted, he had Gronk, but he was hurt in 2011, played in 2014 and 2018 which they won, did not play in 2016 when they came back from 28-3 vs the Falcons, he also had Edelman, who was a 7th round draft pick, played QB in college, but became a great slot receiver..............then a bunch of JAGS.

And Reid; what was he doing going for it on 4th and 2 miles with 2:09 on the clock, he still had the two minute warning and three time outs in his pocket, Belichick........oh sorry, Belicheat never would have called a boneheaded play like that.

The Reid is better than Belichick comparisons need to stop two; come talk to me when he wins 4 more Super Bowls.

The right Tackle for the Chefs false started on every passing play, they finally threw a flag on him towards the end, he was also lining up a good two feet behind the center, illegal formation, they never called it once.

The crap the Chefs get away with it because of twinkle toes Mahomes is unreal.

This isn’t garbage college football where one lose means the end of a championship run.

The Chiefs and there run around like idiots offense until they get a huge pass play and/or a pass interference call will be just fine as they make the playoffs.

The Rams game today is on YouTube. I knew they were bad but competing with funny cat videos is a new low. Do you have to pay to watch those games on You Tube?

You're kidding about having to pay, right? In case you weren’t, it’s $449 although if you ordered before a certain date, it was $349. The price is comparable to what DirecTV charged.

Thanks. I wouldn't pay that much to watch them play in my backyard. That's insane.

All I know is that I won't pay for additional services just to see a football game. If I can't get it on my regular cable, then I don't see it, sort of like this ridiculous TNF scam the NFL is running. -- Al

My son is a 49er fan and we used to have Sunday Ticket on DirecTV so I signed up for YouTube.

The Niners look absolutely stacked this year. The most talented team that I can think of in many decades. If they stay health, they might run the table.

I'm with you on this. I can see a bar or restaurant paying for these games to draw customers, but there is so much football on regular TV that I feel guilty spending the weekend watching it. My experience with watching live events on the Internet is not great. Comcast allows access to YouTube and Prime via your cable system but it takes 30 seconds to open and once you are in the Internet service you have to exit to get back to cable. So if you are switching back and forth during a game, you are stuck opening and exiting the Internet. Maddening to watch that circle go round and round.

I can’t blame you. If he wasn’t such a big fan, I wouldn’t get this. However, I think the Sunday Ticket has been running for awhile.

I have a Smart TV and YouTube is one of the apps you can download, such as Prime, Netflix and ESPN. If I want to switch between the tv and one of the apps, there is just one button to push. It’s all rather seamless.

I get it. I pay extra for the package that brings me MASN on my cable because it's the only way for me to see the Orioles and Nationals. -- Al

We are at the mercy of these companies. About 10 years ago I signed up for Dish TV because our local cable company stopped carrying the Mets games. Then a few years later Dish wouldn’t pay what SNY, the Mets station, wanted so I switched to DirecTV, which has been generally fine. However, sometimes the local station, WPIX, shows Mets games. This summer their contract with DirecTV expired and they haven’t reached agreement so no games so far. On top of that sometimes Apple TV has exclusive rights to games and I refuse to pay more money.

I know people here are not tennis fans but Disney, which owns ESPN, couldn’t agree with Charter Communications on new fees so most people in NY and other parts of the country weren’t able to watch the US Open, to which ESPN has exclusive rights. A lot of complaints by fans but to no avail. Today the parties announced they reached agreement but too late to see the finals.

My suggestion is to sign up for the NFL red zone, they whip around and cover all the 1:00PM and 4:00PM highlights, specifically when a team gets into the red zone, it's great and I highly recommend it.

Must be tough for fans of out of state teams to see any of their games, they do regional coverage and if you are a fan of the Rams and live in PA, you'll never see them play unless they play the Steelers or the Eagles.

Speaking of the Steelers, I'll never understand why they drafted a guy with a last name of Pickett; them being in PA, you'd think they'd know men named Pickett do not do well in PA generally speaking.......................:wink2:
