N.F.L. 21-22 Season (2 Viewers)

Don't give up hope yet George. Here is all that has to happen for the Pats to now reach the playoffs:

  • The Patriots need to win out
    • Their next four games are as follows: v. KC, @ DEN, @ BUF, v. NYJ
  • The Pittsburgh Steelers need to lose out
    • Their next four games: @ IND, v. CIN, @ SEA, @ BAL
  • The Houston Texans need to lose out
    • Their next five games: @ NYJ, @ TEN, v. CLE, v. TEN, @ IND
  • The Bengals need to beat the Steelers in Week 16 and lose the rest of their games
    • Their next five games: v. IND, v. MIN, @ PIT, @ KC, v. CLE
  • The Los Angeles Chargers need to win their next two games against the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders, then lose to the Bills, Broncos, and Chiefs in the final three weeks
  • The Broncos to lose their next three to the Chargers, Lions, and Patriots, win their Week 17 matchup against the Chargers, then lose to the Raiders in Week 18
  • The Bills to lose to the Chiefs and Cowboys, beat the Chargers, then lose to the Patriots and Dolphins

The last thing he wants is to go to the playoffs. Right now they’re tied with Arizona for the number 2 pick. Carolina is guaranteed number one it seems but that pick belongs to the Bears. Last night’s win didn’t really hurt them but another win might.

I think the Steelers are set to make a run for a higher draft pick.............................

The Steelers, Packers, 49ers, Cowboys are the gold standard for the NFL, long track record of success, some peaks and valleys, but it's hard to argue with their overall success ranging for 60 or so years of success for all of these franchises, my entire life all 4 teams were good to great.

The Patriots had a 20 year run which I doubt any team will ever top, 9 trips to the Super Bowl, 6 wins.

Right now they are bottom dwellers, one of the worst teams in the league, what they do in the 2024 draft will determine how things go into the future.

The one thing they had for 20 years was the best QB in the history of the game and it's not even close.

We'll see how things go moving forward.

Agreed, Tom Brady just was that great. QB's really determine success in the long run, they just do, they are the field generals for a reason!

Steelers had Bradshaw and Roethlisberger, Packers had Star, Favre and Rogers, 49ers had Montana and Young, Cowboys had Staubach and Aikman, so yes, the QB drives the bus....................

The Rams-Ravens game should be interesting. Nothing good has ever happened to the Rams when they play on the east coast. Ever. And today they may get to play in a monsoon. I briefly considered buying tickets, but thankful that I didn't given the weather forecast. Imagine the poor folks who paid thousands to sit in the rain.

I sat there for Big Ben's last game, now we were soaked but it was worth it to see him lead a comeback, overtime win. That said, I would not want to sit in this, I am getting ready to go to the airport and hopeful of no delay!

Rams-Ravens was a great game. Jackson played lights out. The Rams got a couple of calls during the game, but the refs stole it at the end. An obvious pass interference call in the end zone was let go. The defender was literally tackling Robinson. Then a blatant block in the back on the punt return, but those are the breaks. You have to win them and not rely on the refs.

Two blocks in the back actually, but what's a couple of non calls among friends.

Mahomes going postal on the sideline after the Chefs had a late TD called back for a neutral zone infraction, screaming at the side judge the whole time.

The Chefs have gotten more calls than any NFL team in history for 6 years, boohoo, cry me a river you big baby.

The Chefs and Mahomes lose, I'm happy.

The Bills and coach Hardo won, I'm sad.

Looks like the Chefs and Mahomes will be on the road in the playoffs for the first time ever.

Best of luck with that.

No, no, I'm accepting the Rams defeat with quiet dignity and grace.

Well, I am going to put it this way - the NFL sucks so bad this year that the Ravens are getting an NFL push. I only saw replays and those calls were BS. I understand missing some calls here and there, but GOOD LORD, those calls or no calls changed the outcome of the game. Freaking blatant, they handed the Ravens the game.

Ok, I would hope Mahomes goes back and looks at the film, Toney was definitely offsides, all he needs to do is look at the tape. And for crap sakes, it is the Receiver's responsibility to look over at the ref and check. Easy to do.

I like Lamar Jackson a lot, he's exciting and makes things happen.............if I have a choice of Ravens, Dolphins, Chefs, I vote Ravens.

And then they get waxed by the 49ers or Dallas................the Iggles got smoked by the 49ers last week and are getting taken to the woodshed tonight so far by Dallas, still a long way to go, so we'll see what happens..............Sirianni looks like he's going to cry vs the constant smirk he has on his face.

And.............Dallas just fumbled, TD Iggles.

Just like that.

Best laugh of the day!!! Agree with everyone the Refs are more then costing games this year, Ravens we're on the wrong side yesterday on 2 P.I. and so it goes.. there was definitely a push in the back on the OT Touchdown, feel the Rams pain as I must have seen the Mark Andrews push in the back Bengals playoff game about 1.5 million times this off season,..as far as Andy, Mahomes, get the **** over it, you basically backed in to the Superbowl with calls in the AFC championship game, then got a BS call to set up a last second FG, dude was so offside yesterday you'd think he was lining up on Bills defensive line

Lamar Jackson played an outstanding game yesterday, but these were the 6-6 Rams playing on the road in a monsoon and it went to OT. Lamar is 19-1 against NFC teams. So I'm not willing to say yet they are SB contenders until they actually win a AFC playoff game. Same deal with the Dolphins. If the Niners stay healthy, they are in. The Eagles are the only team that can match their physical play. If I had to pick on the AFC side, it would still be the Chiefs.

One last thing on the Rams game. Aaron Donald had zero tackles and zero sacks. He is supposedly the greatest D-line player in history. That doesn't cut it. Granted he was double and triple teamed and there was holding on every play that the refs never call but no tackles for the entire game? And where are the other defenders when Donald is being tripled teamed? Someone has to be unblocked. I don't get paid millions to coach but if every team does this against him, then maybe the Rams could adjust to take advantage of it.

I thought the game was the best in the NFL yesterday, 9 lead changes, both QB's played great, big plays, defensive stops, all in terrible weather,...give the Rams great credit the way they played the last 3 or 4 weeks had me nervous, ...the AFC is a odd one right now, Ravens have 4 very tough games, KC has a cake walk in last 4 weeks, Dolphins are clicking, should be a interesting next few weeks

What a horror show to watch today. I didn't recognize a single QB until Goff rolled into the game tonight like Dr. Strangelove.

The Steelers have officially "jumped the shark" this season. The offense is so pathetic it wore out its own defense and they got collectively beaten by the Colts, mightily I might add.
