N.F.L. 21-22 Season (2 Viewers)

As the season winds down and the playoffs are looming, looking at the standings, specifically the NFC, three absolute garbage teams are going to make the playoffs, 49ers, Cowboys (well when they play at home), Lions and Eagles are solid, the rest of the field is hot garbage, 7-7 teams still alive for a playoff spot, what a joke, this is what happens when you let too many teams into the playoffs, the AFC is more solid, but not by much.

Hey, if the 9-7 Giants can win a Super Bowl, why not.

All I can say is that the Steelers suck. Getting worse by the week. Going to have to buy a QB, wonder if Brady will come out of retirement again, he seriously just might be the best option.

The Eagles have lost three in a row and were blasted in two of those. King Pete owns them at 8-0. The Cowboys were destroyed this weekend. The Lions are well the Lions. Not winning the SB. The Niners are far and away the best team. The season is a marathon now with the ridiculous number of games. Injuries are a killer. One play you are a contender, and the next you have some scrub at QB throwing picks. Whoever is healthy and playing well come playoff time is what counts instead of just records. Right now that is the Niners and Bills/Ravens.

No love for my Ravens, looks like the Experts and media have the 49'ers winning easily?? Hmm.. same record, lamar is 18-1 vs NFC teams, number 1 scoring defense and number 4 scoring offense, but it's probably for the best, underdog seems to fit this team well this year.

The game is in SF and they’re facing the best team in the NFL. I thought they’d be about a 4 or 4.5 favorite but the oddsmakers gave them an extra point. When the 49ers are healthy they’re close to unbeatable, which is not to say they can’t be beaten, but I expect SF to win.

The Rams are showing some signs of life in the last few games and tonight. The rookies Puka and Williams are playing lights out. Stafford and Kupp are healthy. They are not going to win the Super Bowl but wouldn't want to play them in the playoffs.

Well you're not alone there, I'd say about 90% of media, And majority of NFL fans picking SF.

Talk about no love..Mike Florio predicts the 49'ers will kick the **** out of the Ravens and it will be a double digit win for the 49"ers easily....also if this is a Superbowl preview it will suck as everyone else is playing for 2nd to the 49'ers...hmmm....49"ers are 1-2 vs AFC North this year. Lamar is 20-1 vs NFC.

The losses to Cleveland and Minnesota came when CMC and Deebo were hurt and they only lost the Cleveland game because the FG kicker missed at the end of the game. They are now fully healthy and playing at home. That is why they are favorites.

I can play the same song with the Ravens 3 losses,...players out, Tucker misses early against the Colts, yada, yada...my personal opinion it's going to come down to a last second possession, on a FG attempt to win.

If fantasy football means anything (and it usually does due to the gambling aspect), Ravens Defense is the cheapest defense in weekly leagues. IE, it is the least expensive defense in all games this week which means the gamblers think the 49ers are going to win big. It does surprise me, they have to play the game. That said, it is on the road, clear across the coast, holiday weekend, I am not sure of stats, but I think the home teams win a huge percentage of times in these circumstances.

Regarding the Ravens, they are playing well, but as I have said about a lot of teams, the Ravens offensive success solely rests on Lamar Jackson's performance. If he doesn't make mistakes, they are in the game. This is a big test, I think it will be interesting IMO.

Maybe this is the Bill’s year as they avoid expectations and just play football?

Jason, don't count the powerhouse Steelers out of it, Mighty Mason to the rescue with an offensive performance for the ages against the Bengals last night...........................................................................{sm3}

Good lord, I never would have thought that Mason Rudolph and George Pickens would be on a highlight reel this year. Tomlin is doing his ****est to avoid a losing season. Too little too late for this fan and NO Mighty Mason is not the answer.

The Dolphins are 11-4 but only have one win against a team with a winning record. And not a single win against an AFC team with a winning record. That is a great example of how the NFL has been diluted with too many teams.

They were the victors of the Fraud Bowl, as some have dubbed it.

Not to jinx it but the Rams are probably the second-best team in the NFC right now. The Eagles are looking fugly. I've never seen the refs call a delay of game on the defense after a player fumbles the ball and the D attempts to recover. That was basically the difference in the game tonight with the hapless Giants. The fix was in on that game.

Thankfully I never bought into the media driven idea that Brock Purdy is as great as Montana.

And that's why they play the games...After listening to every pundit for the last 2 weeks predict a SF victory, led by Super MVP Purdy, it was extremely satisfying to see the Ravens win last night's game. Don't know that it means much in the long run, I was just pleased to see it happen. Nothing against SF, as they have been playing really well, it was just the 'experts' all underestimated Baltimore. -- Al

That was an old fashioned butt whipping but a lot of it self inflicted. Lamar is a lot to handle and the 49ers in the last few years don’t do great against running QBs. I knew that when Florio, who generally dislikes the 49ers (according to my son) called for them to win, that was trouble. The best that can be said is that Purdy, in his short career, was due for a bad game. Better now than in the playoffs.

I’m sure Shanahan picked up a few things about the Ravens should they meet again in the SB. Hopefully not, as SF is 1-3 against the AFC North although they should have won against the Browns. However, the losses to the Bengals and the Ravens were well earned.

Next week should be a feel good game against the Commanders and then they can wrap it up against LA.
