The Steelers made chicken soup out of chicken crap last year, BUT I agree with you, at the end of the year , they were done and didn't deserve a playoff spot, they gave that up with the poor December performances.

The 17 game schedule and the 7th playoff team is actually on the table for 2021...…………what I don't get is will each team play 8 home, 8 road and one neutral site game?

So will every team have to play a game in London or Mexico City?

I don't get it...…………...not a fan of 7 teams either, they are watering down the sport with this.
 
If you watch the NFL Network (which is owned by the NFL) then all of you would know that the number of playoff teams doesn’t matter since the Kansas City Chiefs are going to win the next 10 Super Bowls, all while going undefeated in the regular season.
 
If they go to a 17th game, the players and owners should never mention player safety again and should just acknowledge their only concern is making money. I don't fully understand why an owner thinks it is a good financial decision to risk injuries to big money players by adding another game. You could lose a star player for the season or an entire career for an additional game. The hypocrisy is astounding.

The most comical aspect of this is according to number of NFL insiders, the real goal is 18 games and 8 playoff teams per conference.

In that scenario there would be no byes, 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5...………………….

so 18 regular season, 2 preseason, money, money, money...…………..and yeah, about that whole player safety thing...…………….
 
I’d have a lot more respect for the draft prognosticators if they’d come on TV a year or two after the draft and admit all the mistakes when it comes to their predictions.
 
Did any of you watch Curb Your Enthusiasm this past Sunday. Half of the show is devoted to the Jets or as the characters say, “the f***ing Jets.” It’s riotous. A friend of Larry kills himself because he can’t take the Jets anymore. My son kept saying “yup, that’s the Jets for you.”

With TN resigning their QB and the Raiders signing a QB, his options are narrowing. Most likely going to the Chargers or Bucs. He is basically asking to be GM. Not going to end well.

The Chargers seem like his best bet. They have a QB vacancy, playing in a new multi-billion dollar stadium, and they have some talent. It's a big sports celebrity market to satisfy his massive ego and his wife would love it.
 
If it was strife with bill or pats didn’t want him etc, I’m still a fan. If it was to get $2mil more, not a fan. I’m a big fan of team loyalty - I hate this part of sports these days
