N.F.L. Season 2018-19 (1 Viewer)

The playoff scenarios are very confusing this year but it seems odd that the Steelers are not playing Ben against the Browns. If the Bills lose, and the Steelers win, then the Steelers would be the #2 seed in the AFC. Rams and Cards is a winner take all. The Rams will have a starting QB that has never taken an NFL snap despite being in the league for a couple years.

I think it’s looking good for both the Rams and Cards. If the Rams lose they can only be eliminated by a Chicago win and the Bears are playing the Packers. I just don’t see the Bears beating them and with Goff out the chances are that Arizona will win. The only way the Bears get in by losing is for Arizona to lose too.

I just saw this too, I guess they are figuring the Bills are rolling and will win. I don't know why they would not want to knock out the Browns. Odd year.

Roethlisberger is banged up, so they are giving him a week off..................not a fan of "resting" players and giving up on the highest seed possible, the Patriots did it twice and it bit them in the *** both times......................again, not a fan.

Miami is playing for their playoff lives; if they lose, they are out, but that said, I can't see them beating the Bills regardless, that team is a wagon, if things stay as they should, Chefs/Bills will be a great AFCCG.........................as will Packers/Saints.........................I can't see Tampa beating Green Bay in round two in Green Bay, not happening.

If it does and Brady gets to the NFCCG, heads will explode around the NFL.

It would be ironic if after years or torturing the Bills, Steelers, Chiefs, etc, etc, Brady finally leaves the AFC, only to possibly continuing the torture in the Super Bowl....................

The Browns are ravaged by COVID.

They reached out to the NFL find out their rescheduling options and the league basically said, who do you think you are, the Ravens?

Weird year keeps getting weirder. The Rams will not only be without Goff but several other key players in this weekend. And according to ESPN: John Wolford will be the first QB in the Super Bowl era to make his first career start in the final game of the season with his team still having a chance to make the playoffs.

I hope they win because I don't like seeing teams fail to qualify for the playoffs due to injuries; yeah, I get it, they are part of the game, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Kamara of the Saints has tested positive.

He'll likely miss their playoff game next weekend, which could torpedo them.

I wonder what the NFL would do if their golden child Mahomes tests positive; no doubt they'd postpone their playoff game.

Speaking of Mahomes; he led the league with a whopping 16 dropped INT's this year.

Again; he's good, but he's also VERY lucky.

If Mahomes tested positive the league would simply cancel the season and award the trophy to Kansas City as they are the greatest franchise in history.

Or Baltimore considering they “suffered” the most under COVID.

With this new infectious strain we can’t be sure if the playoffs will be completed. Several matches in England are canceled.

Brad,
the NFL would have ICU units on the field to make sure these games get played come hell or high water! :)

Instead of treadmills and bikes on the sidelines, they will have ventilators, respirators, IV units and Rapid Tests.

Jason - good point about the Ravens, with the Ravens playing decent ball, you can't help but thinking King Ginger Stooge is setting up a Chiefs/Ravens AFCCG. Kamara put a serious derail in the Packers/Saints.

Tom:

Great point, even if you have never heard of any of the players taking the field the NFL is going to finish this season.

So whoever wins the NFC East today will get a home game in the first round of the playoffs against Tampa. Pretty amazing. A six or seven win team has home field advantage in the first round.

doesn't matter who wins the East...
this will be nothing but a tune up game for Brady...
he will throw for 300+ against any of these 3 teams...

Then again who would have thought that the 7-9 Seahawks would have beaten the Saints, the defending champions.

Jacksonville beat Indianapolis...
NY Jets beat Cleveland...
Cincy beat Pittsburg...

as they say...
"on any given Sunday"

still...
the NFC East has no future in the playoffs...

okay...
watching the Cowboys/Giants game...
Dallas is totally inept...
Dalton blows as does his protection...

at this point...
I think the Giants are the best team the East can offer...
and hope they beat Washington tonight...

Certainly interesting finish to the Steeler game. Mason Rudolph nearly led a full scale comeback that would have sunk the Brown's chances. Browns win by 2. I didn't even think the game would be close. Cleveland is just not a very good football team. Not saying the Steelers are great, but wow.

Now all bets are off, in the playoffs nothing really matters other than getting a win.

Cowboys are looking pretty good now. A tale of two halves.

they found a way to blow it...
Dalton sucks...
need Dak back next year healthy...

wish McCarthy had thrown a flag on that reception that resulted in a NY field goal...
they might have overruled it...
if so...
Cowboys could have won it with a field goal...

I would be embarrassed to wear a cap that said...

"7-9 Cowboys...Division Winner"...^&grin
