Ok, I watched most of the Rams Seattle Game - Rams D never allowed Seattle to get going. Seattle looked awful, Rams D looked really good, Goff, well, he did enough to win, but as has been posted a lot , he doesn't look worth the money, reminds me of Flacco.

Redskins vs Bucs - well, the better team won. HOWEVER, and I say this as an uninterested fan, I think the really really bad No pass Interference call in Quarter 2 where Washington was driving and IMO would have gotten at least a FG, probably a TD with the little momentum they had changed the flow of the game. It became 18 to 7 off that one play instead of 15 to 14 going into half. A seemingly poor call IMO changed the course of the game. I don't know we would have had a different outcome in any shape or fashion. Additionally, what I don't understand either is why the incomplete pass call that was discussed for at least 10 secs on last drive was not booth reviewed? Just b/c Washington was out of timeouts, why on plays like that doesn't the booth review?

As a general comment I feel like the entire officiating/replay is arbitrary as a whole in the NFL, it does make you wonder. They are like weather people on tv, only job where you seemingly can be consistently wrong and not only keep your job but continue to be promoted.

Honestly, no, I did not, it was football overload and I got bored after about 10 minutes of watching Heinekin bumble and stumble around out there, so I watched a tremendous movie instead called "The king of staten island", I had heard some good things about it, turned out to be a great watch.

IE, my time was better spent elsewhere.

Two of the three games today look like clunkers too.

Watch the Saints game on Nickelodeon for a change of pace. How about Lamar and company running off the field after the Titan game instead of shaking hands? Not a lot of class but according to Lamar "We played greatly." The Ravens are going to give the Chiefs a game if they can play D like they did today.

What a game by the Ravens, that defense is legit, 51 yards rushing for Henry? Wow.

And Jackson; holy smokes what an athlete some of those runs today were incredible.

Sorry Tom, but I'll pulling for the Browns tonight so they go to KC and the Bills get the Ravens.

At one point, the Ravens were 6-5 and looked lost, they are peaking at the right time.

I've seen this movie before, 2012 specifically...................good luck to whoever they play next.

I'd settle for Ravens/Steelers in the AFCCG, if it's Chefs/Bills, I won't be happy.

Trubisky and the Bears look anemic today...
3 points is all they could muster so far with 3 minutes left...
that dropped pass in the end zone seemed to stop any momentum they had...
tough game to watch...
maybe New Orlean's defense is better than I thought...

hope Cleveland and Pittsburgh will be better...

Yeah gee, never thought a 8-8 fraud playoff team would lay an egg, by far the worst game of the weekend.

I thought at one point the Bears would go to Folsie to see if he could catch lighting in a bottle again, but they stuck with Tribshitsky.

Loved how time and time again on third and 10, 3rd and 8, 3rd and 9, he'd dump off a 5 yard pass underneath that had zero chance of getting the first down.

Just awful.

I got screwed on that game...
had Chicago +11...
Trubisky threw a touchdown to make it 21-9...
I needed 1 more point to tie...
there was no time on the clock...
and they just left the field...
game over...
they didn't kick the extra point...
didn't even try...
could of been 21-10 with the extra point...
I would of tied on my bet...
but instead I lost cause NO's won by 12...
I would think they were obligated to finish the game with an extra point effort...
this has happened to me before on a college bet...

what's the rule on this?
and yes...
I know the NFL and the coaches don't care about gamblers and the spread...
isn't there a rule that they have to finish the game with the extra point?

Good lord. Cleveland 28-0 in the 1st quarter. What is happening?{eek3} -- Al

I thought that was a requirement, ie, to go for the extra point regardless.....................

I believe they only kick extra points on game ending touchdowns during the regular season because point total differentials can be used as tie breakers in the final standings, playoff seedings etc.

The Chiefs are lucking out again. They get the Browns instead of Ravens. Not sure what happened to Pittsburgh but things went south fast after they started 11-0. Can't believe their D gave up almost 50 points to Cleveland in a playoff game.

Well ugh, as in ugly. How does an NFL team spot another one 28-35 in a playoff game and expect a positive outcome? I stopped watching and switched over to Epix - Godfather of Harlem (great series by the way). The right team won last night, Steelers deserve to go back to the cold of winter and figure out what happened.

Jason...ty...maybe so...that is a plausible explanation...

Pittsburgh was ambushed...
everything went wrong in the 1st quarter...
hard to recover from a 28 point deficit...
tough ending to a season with so much hope from their great start......

Yeah, thinking there will be a lot of changes in the Burgh. I am wondering if the fact that Ben and Pouncey stayed on the field together long after it was over if that is not a sign to the end of the era. I thought Ben did well this year overall, but in December, a lot of dropped passes led to what looked like a lot of frustration and when his frustration went up, his mistakes did too. That was the worst half I have seen him play since he was a rookie. Sad end if that is it, but hard to pick when you go out. I would be surprised if Ju Ju, Connor and forgetting one other would come back.

Philly is apparently firing their coach. So he won't get to use that higher draft pick after losing to the Deadskins. Karma.

The Steelers reminded me of the Patriots last year; got out to a 10-0 start, then burped and farted their way down the stretch at 2-4, losing to the Dolphins the last game of the year and losing the #2 seed, then getting knocked out by the Titans at home.

It was a mirage for both teams, the Patriots stunk this year, they are rebuilding, we'll see what happens with the Steelers, nothing lasts forever.

I remember Collinsworth yammering on SNF about how he's safe, he won a SB three years ago, he's not going anywhere.

Right.

Another example of what have you done for me lately, coaches get hired to get fired, that's the nature of the profession.

don't know if he lost his job over that...
his record alone was bad enough to get fired...
may have been some fan pressure for tanking the last game though...
but I'm guessing some Philly fans liked that too...

wonder if tanking that last game will make other teams shy away from hiring him?
