N.F.L. Season 2018-19 (3 Viewers)

Saw a link showing the new Jets uniforms for 2019; an awful, putrid shade of green, horrible helmet design, three versions...…..green jersey, white pants, white jersey, green pants, all black.

Good Lord.

When they stole Parcells from New England, he went old school back to the classic Broadway Joe uniform and helmet and ****canned the horrible uniforms they had at the time. A nice, classic shade of green and the helmets were great...……...as much as I hated the Jets back then, major props for that uniform, I rank them Packers, Jets, Raiders, Steelers, Chargers (when they break out the love ya blue version)………….now, wow, they are just awful.

Another example of Nike ruining something.

Here you go; I HATE that New York/Cleveland thing they do on the front of the uniforms, Nike sucks...…….

Those are truly awful. There must be some software program that spits out these terrible space suits and some greedy NFL owner thinks he will make a bundle selling them for $200-300. Appear to be targeting younger fans. My Rams are going to do the same thing in 2020 when they move to the new stadium. The first design is a nightmare. Their current blue and yellow uniforms look are perfect in my opinion. No need to change or modernize but it is all about making more money.

As long as people keep buying these "new uniforms" they will keep making them.

I think the last straw for me was when they started to use the color rush uniforms. Those uniforms make the players look like a bunch of highlighters trying to tackle each other.

Seattle should have read this bit of info prior to signing Russel Wilson:

Every single one of the top six highest-paid NFL quarterbacks will end the 2018 season and the 2019 NFL playoffs without playing a single playoff game.

Jason...

I'm also afraid the Cowboys are gonna grossly overpay to re-sign Dak...he's really just a little better than average...

Wilson has won a Super Bowl and played in another. He has two 4,000-yard passing seasons in his seven-year career and has thrown 35 and 34 touchdown passes the past two seasons, respectively. Only New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has more wins than Prescott since 2016, but Prescott has not passed for 4,000 yards or thrown more than 23 touchdown passes in a season.

Mike:

Great article, thanks for sharing.

I think the Seahawks grossly overpaid Wilson and the team is now going to be unable to sign much talent. It is good new for the Niners as they play in the same division.

The draft is finally here.

I am pretty sick of the "experts" and the overblown coverage. At this point I just want the Niners to take Bosa.

Jason...

I have watched his college highlight videos...
he's a beast...
Bosa could make a huge difference in any defense...

Mike:

I know it is a safe pick, but I also think it is the right move.

The Niners also need receiver help but there isn't anyone at that position in this draft who you would take with No. 2 overall pick.

-Jason

Jason...

text them...

it's not too late to trade up...^&grin

Mike:

I am usually home for the draft so I would normally get more coverage of the Cowboys's moves/inclinations. This time, being in Cali, the local coverage is all about the Niners.

In the last hour the talk has shifted to what they will do if Arizona takes Bosa. The consensus is that they would then swap picks with either the Raiders or Giants while also picking up another first rounder as Oakland and New York have multiple first round picks.

Jason...

you have watched enough drafts to know these analysts will say anything and speculate on anything to make their time on the air hopefully more interesting...

from my experience...

these so called professional analysts that do these "mock drafts" are usually as wrong as my local weatherman...

the first 2-3-4 teams and picks are usually spot on...
because they are obvious...
until somebody throws a wrench in their selection order by trading up or being unpredictable...

kind of like a #1 seed getting knocked off in the first round of March Madness...
after that happens...
all bets off...
nobody knows sheeeet...

I wish you luck on Bosa...
with a second overall...
and everything I have read about Arizona wanting the QB from Oklahoma...
not a spot they would want to trade...
I think Bosa will join you on the West Coast...
he should make an immediate impact on the team...

the Cowboys don't even have a 1st round pick...
they gave it to Gruden for Amari Cooper...
which seems like the smart move at this point...

Can't wait for the draft tonight as New England has the 32nd pick, there will be all sorts of speculating as to who they will take, tight ends will start to come off the board, then others will drop, everyone will be fired up when one is right there to be had and then I hear "With the 32nd pick in the 2019 NFL draft, the New England Patriots select hobo joe, running back, McNeese state"...……………...then heads explode everywhere across New England.

Either that or they trade the pick for a two and two threes later on...…….classic Belichick.

After that Rams win, he gets a free pass for life from me (sorry, I never thought in a million years he'd hold them to 3 measly points)……………….actually, he had a free pass for life BEFORE that win...……...

yea...
can't buck the odds with Mr. Belichick...
"Father Knows Best"...
as he has shown us in the past...
he has a method to his madness...
or...
like they say...
"you're playing checkers...he's playing chess"...

Best comment I have heard so far today:

Jon Gruden traded Khalil Mack so don't be surprised if he drafts a punter with the 4th overall pick.

Steelers look like they made a nice draft trade and landed a beast at #10, just hopefully he plays like one...……….
