N.F.L. Season 2018-19 (5 Viewers)

The Patriots scooped up wide receiver N’Keal Harry late in the first round. He was the player that the Niners wanted to get with their second round pick.

Can't wait for the draft tonight as New England has the 32nd pick, there will be all sorts of speculating as to who they will take, tight ends will start to come off the board, then others will drop, everyone will be fired up when one is right there to be had and then I hear "With the 32nd pick in the 2019 NFL draft, the New England Patriots select hobo joe, running back, McNeese state"...……………...then heads explode everywhere across New England.

Either that or they trade the pick for a two and two threes later on...…….classic Belichick.

After that Rams win, he gets a free pass for life from me (sorry, I never thought in a million years he'd hold them to 3 measly points)……………….actually, he had a free pass for life BEFORE that win...……...

If I recall correctly, Harry is a beast. The one game I saw this season he ran back a punt for a TD and looked unstoppable. NFL-ready in terms of his body. I'm always suspicious of talent like that when they go to ASU though. It either means he can't spell "cat" if they spotted him a "c" and a "t" or he is a head case.

Harry received football scholarship offers from the following schools:

USC
UCLA
Texas
Texas A&M
Washington
Oregon
Oregon State
Arizona
Arizona State
Colorado
Utah
Lousville
Maryland
Wisconsin

He chose ASU so that he could remain close to his grandmother (who lives in Glendale AZ). She raised him.

For your sake, I hope he plays better than he dresses.

I think they all qualify for that award! Great pedigree on this kid, he is Devin Bush's son, star for the Falcons and a FSU (The Florida State University for those folks unawares) standout and nat. champ winner.

Ya never know til any of them hit the field, you just always hope they are not a bust! Man if Shazier was healthy and able to play, what a tandem they would be (not that I ever advocate Shazier coming back)

Sad news out of the NFL...Bart Starr, legendary Qb of the Green Bay Packers, has passed away at the age of 85. Starr was a class act all the way. RIP. -- Al

So the NFL owners are pushing for an 18 game season and expanding the number of teams in the playoffs! A horrible idea. It also highlights the hypocrisy regarding player safety. An 18 game season along with multiple playoff games would be absolutely brutal on players. There apparently no bounds to their greed though.

Are they still planning on 4 exhibition games too; what a farce that is, charging full price to see a bunch of guys who'll be asking you soon if you want fries with that?

18 games would be a war of attrition; whoever gets hot at the end of the year will win the SB...………..so, look for the Giants and Opie to win a SB if he's still around when this goes through.

The number of games played during a regular season can't be increased without the players' consent and the subject is expected to be discussed in negotiations for a new labor agreement.

They were floating the idea of reducing the ridiculously long preseason but that is meaningless because most starters hardly play in those games. An 18-game season would be brutal in the NFL. I would like to see them go back to the traditional 14 game season and maybe one preseason game. Like baseball, there is an over saturation of games already. Never going to happen, though, due to the greed of the owners. You do have to wonder how much money these guys want. Many are already billionaires. To some extent it is also self-defeating when you risk multi-million dollar players in an 18-game season. I assume player salaries would also have to increase with the extra games.

There's going to be a work stoppage over the new labor negotiations; you know it's coming...…………….

the players (union) have got to renegotiate Goodell's...
"I am the law, I can do whatever I want." clause...

can't blame this on him...
but AB just has some bad luck...

the little bit of jewelry...
and some other valuables...
I have is in a small safe at my house...

who has $500, 000 worth of jewelry just laying around their house?

Thievery is disgusting and I personally believe thieves should have their hands removed, there is no excuse. However, in this case, the Company you keep says a lot about you...………………………...Bell is not a nice guy, doesn't surprise me that he got ripped off. Maybe if he put down the cheeseburger and blunt, he could keep track of his stuff. Sorry, call it sour grapes or whatever, as a Steeler fan, he is a bum and persona non grata, so this kind of stuff is called Karma.

George...

I have found something you and me can both be proud of...
people hate NE and Dallas so much...
that we both have anti- tribute beers brewed by NE and Dallas haters...
this is for real...
the NE hater beer is brewed for the NYJ and Giant's fans...
"Brady's Nightmare"...
the Dallas hater beer is brewed in Philly for Eagle fans...
"Dallas Sucks"...
they are flying off the shelf...

Hilarious...……….Giants fans hate the Patriots?

Really?

They were gifted two Super Bowls thanks to New England; their should be kissing Brady's ***, not hating on him.

Jets fans...………..yeah, that makes sense.

yea...

more than the label depicting any hate from the Giants...

I think it is more of a reference to the label and picture....

"Brady's Nightmare"...

showing a brow furrowed Brady with "dizzy stars" spinning around his head...

as a reference to beating him in those 2 Super Bowls...

my reference to "haters" might have been a poor choice of words...

Ok, that makes sense; I'll look forward to seeing Vinnie, Sal and Joey bag of donuts from Queens on the beaches of Cape Cod this Summer with their gold chains, hats on backwards and jorts on guffawing about how "they" beat the Patriots twice in the Super Bowl then...…...……..meanwhile my smokeshow girlfriend will be pointing and laughing at them...……………….
