Skin o' the teeth, again. Terps looked really good in the 1st half, working inside and shooting only from long range when needed, but went away from it completely in the 2nd half. Why? Stone, Carter, and Layman had 28 points between them in the 1st half and only 8 in the 2nd. Free throws and decent rebounding saved them. Pound it inside and they look good, bombs away, not so much. -- AlIt's over. We inbound, they foul, we make1of 2, game over.

As we used to say in Cole, "Amen!".^&grin -- AlAl, trying hard not to sound bad with a win and a 19-3 record. BUT, Terps will have to play better in the tournament. Having this much trouble with a very mediocre to poor team such as OSU does not give me a lot of confidence. Especially with the March record of UM. :redface2: Chris
Terp women are, if anything, more successful than the men. -- AlAs far as basketball programs go UMD has to be the best all around as they are the only school whose men's and women's teams are in the top 10.
No one talks about that sort of thing but it is impressive.
MD is constantly turning the ball over
Chris, I'm hoping this type of play results in an 'ugly' championship. :wink2: -- AlAnother ugly win and I'll take it. 20-3!!Go Terps!! Chris
Close wins is what UMd does, apparently, whether it's good for my nerves or not. They are 19-2 in games decided by 6 or fewer points over the last 2 seasons. Where's my aspirin... -- Al
