Weak second half play will cost the Terps in both tournaments as Al mentioned. Congrats to NU on getting to the bid dance this yr and good luck against Rutgers. Chris
I think NWU is Nebraska Wesleyan University.
That's for sure. Trimble tried, and had an excellent game, but even Turgeon realized he wasn't getting any help and thus pulled Trimble for the final 4/5 minutes of the game, just to try and save him a little. Not a stellar effort by the Terps. -- AlNU beat Rutgers, congrats. Terps go down to Wisconsin. :rolleyes2: Not surprised. Trimble couldn't do it all by himself. Chris

Don't want to be pessimistic about the Terps, but it's a learned response over 5 decades. Two and out sounds right. -- AlUM Terps vs NU tonight, game on! UM very shaky coming down the stretch but I'll go out on a limb and pick them by 2. I think they're two and out in both tournaments. What do you guys think? Chris

Jason, anything is possible and the Terps are capable of going on a tear, but they are just too inconsistent to make it probable. But I would love to see them catch fire and play well. -- AlThe Terps might still do some damage in the Tournament. Look at Syracuse last year. They were a #10 seed with many experts saying that seeding was much too high for them and they would get knocked out in the first round. They ended up going to the Final Four.

Oh well. Another game, another double-digit second half lead blown, another loss. What a shock. Same old problem all year. Congrats to you, Pete, your team played very well. -- AlJason, anything is possible and the Terps are capable of going on a tear, but they are just too inconsistent to make it probable. Holy Cow! The 'Cats are on to the Semis for the first time ever.
When we were down by 10 in the 2nd half (and looking awful) I figured we'd run out of gas. That's when they turned on the defense.
Bring on the Badgers.
