There's plenty of room on the NU bandwagon...welcome aboard!!
Naa.... We'll be fine, Sweet 16 here we come!!!! seriously though, when the young Terps started this season I was hoping maybe a NIT bid, have played solid ball for such a young team, to me this tourney is a stepping stone for next year squad, but if they do win a few games that's great, all the more experience for next season.
Sammy, you heard it here first. As Tommy Lee Jones said, "Never argue with the big dog. " :wink2:* Chris
It turned out to be a tremendous game. I thought that NU might pull it out but they got that bad call and then the 'T' that ended up putting an end to it. -- AlCongrats to NU on a great season. Chris
Home team Arizona Wildcats had a tough one with St. Mary's team but solid effort puts the Cats in the sweet 16, next up is that school no one seems to talk about until the Tournament rolls around..Xavier!! the one that beat my Terps, then crushed no. 3 Fl. St. today, if the Cats want to move on they have got to play better on offense in the 1st half.

My UK Cats won in a close game against Wichita State (seem to be a lot of close games this tournament). Very evenly matched teams. A possible re-match with UCLA could be a problem. Chris
I sense a long-standing animosity within that post. Now, repeat after me, "I hate Christian Laettner". :wink2:{eek3}^&grin -- Al..."With so many top schools already gone..."
Including Duke . ^&grin Chris

Smooth move, eh? Fitting his Duke accomplishment into a KY vs WS game? Jeesh. That was a Duke team everyone loved to hate. -- AlWell Al, since you brought it up... Grant Hill was the third wheel announcer for the UK- WS game and he mentioned THAT game. :rolleyes2: He threw the inbounds pass to Laettner. Kind of low class remark I think. Chris
Number 11 seed Xavier goes to the Elite 8 and is the Cinderella of the tournament. Chris
