I wonder why the Big 10 has even bothered to try and play this season. I haven't counted the cancelled games, except for UMd, but there are a lot. UMd had 8 games on the season slate after the Big 10's late start. So far, 3 of 7 have been cancelled, leaving UMd with a 5 game season, IF they get the final game in against Rutgers. Why did they bother? The B-ball season is going the same way at this point with 3 of 6 games cancelled for UMd. What a joke. -- Al

The playoff factors in many things with strength of schedule playing a huge part in rankings. Never mind the fact that Ohio State has only played 4 games, when all is said and done many of the teams that they have defeated will have barely played 4 games.
You can’t use strength of schedule when one team has played 10 games against a team that hasn't even played half of that.
