NCAA Football 2019 (1 Viewer)

That was an ugly game. I can appreciate the history and tradition but it was bad football. My Trojans aren't doing much better though.
Maybe they aren't winning at the moment, but it has been an entertaining game and the color prism is off the chart. Always a favorite when these 2 teams meet and where their home colors. World of difference between watching this game and the Army/Navy game this afternoon, what with the fog and the Army camo blending into the field. Couldn't see squat for most of that game. -- Al

Whew. SC wins in a heartbreaker for the Ruins.

What a shock, the PAC 12 has now substituted Oregon in to play USC in the championship game after Washington could not play due to COVID.

They really need to change the name of the college football playoff to “The Power 5 Invitational”.

So if ND beats Clemson, who are the 4 playoff teams; Clemson can't go with 2 losses can they? USC has to be #4 if they win their conference championship game I'd think.................conversely, if ND loses, then who are the 4 playoff teams?

Let's save time, confusion, and angst and just crown Alabama champ. I haven't seen anyone who can stay with them anyhow. -- Al

The Mighty Trojans and Nike Ducks tonight in the PAC championship game. This will be USC's third game in 13 days. Coming off a big, come from behind win against UCLA. Hopefully they are not flat. I've only seen Oregon play a couple times but they don't look that great.

And then, after all that Oregon beat USC.

That is why, (see Ohio State), how many games you play matters.

A lot.

Ugly game for SC. Turnovers, penalties, mistakes. Playing three games in two weeks caught up with them.

Watched the USC/Oregon game, it was entertaining. To me USC is a prime example of a team with a good amount of talent that lacks execution. Yes they were 5-0 but if I am not mistaken in 3 of the games they pulled rabbits to win and you can say that talent allows you to do that, but it is hard to consistently dig in holes and always come up with a win in the last 90 seconds. I almost compare them to the Steelers last 2 games in the NFL - lots of talent, no execution in either game when it mattered. USC suffered that fate last night.

At the end of the day, the CFP is a complete screw up this year. Now, it will be hilarious if Ohio State loses their "Big 10" Championship, then they should be out too. I would like to see Notre Dame win also even though I cannot believe I am saying that, but I am tired of Dumbo Sweeney. IMO, he really showed his true colors this year with his comments about COVID and other teams this year. That was just low class and I don't think it should be forgotten. Really poor. If we are going to have a nutso CFP, I would like to see some different teams this year as that may make it entertaining. End of day, if Alabama wins, no stopping them and they deserve it as I think they are the only ones truly close to a full schedule, as usual, they are doing something right in Bama.

Clemson is good. Real good. They are rolling ND like a high school team. Bama is the only team with a hope to beat them.

I can’t see ND staying in the top 4. Goodbye playoffs.

Who else are they going to put in, Texas A & M; Alabama will beat them 107-0..........ND will stay as they are a name program.

Alabama and Clemson are the class of college football; everyone else is kidding themself.

With some playoff teams playing 11 games and others only playing 6 it is clear that the regular season can be shortened and the playoff expanded.

Have an 8 game playoff with each Power 5 team champion and 3 at large bids for the smaller conferences.

Just to keep the powers that be happy let some sort of committee decide the playoff seeds.

Also, get rid of independents.

There is a large separation between Bama/Clemson and everyone else. Ohio St., ND and/or A&M will all get pounded by either of those teams. I just hope Clemson and Bama are not paired in the first round. And we end up with the winner playing Ohio St. and winning 80-3. Ohio St. did not impress me at all yesterday. Their offense will get shutdown by Bama/Clemson and they will be steamrolled.

Bama gets ND. That is going to be a massacre. And the Rose Bowl game will be played in Dallas. Weird year.

I do think Texas A&M has a gripe as they are playing really good football......................but oh well, some sympathy for the players, but SORRY JIMBO! The way he left FSU, that guy deserves the shaft. Never thought there would be a day where I was smiling about Notre Dame, what an ironic year!!!!!!

I pick Bama, I just think they weathered a very good offense last night, but came up with big D plays when they needed it and they have an offense that scores at will. I will stick with them.

Whoever wins OSU and Clemson, I hope they beat the crap out of each other. Again, ironic in that OSU is not one of my faves, but if they beat Dumbo and Clowns, call me a fan.

Still thinks this fits. Nothing seen to change my mind. Bama scores at will on whoever they play. -- Al

Alabama is deep at every position, pretty much a top three player in the nation, except for its kicker and punter.

With their offense the chances of it coming down to a punt or field goal is minimal.
