New Conte Zulus (2 Viewers)

These are very nice Damian although I own the real Rorkes Drift :D :D :D

I see some very nice similarities between RC & WB. Maybe we will see some more of these in the new WB lineup.

The question is will they work together.
I think so.
Hopefully over the next week or so I will be able to test that theory out

Received a special treat from you the AM Sir Damian which I haven't replied to yet so I'll thank you for the 40 photos you sent me of your set and gee I feel honored. By the way what set number do you have? Ive set 8. Damian you'll find that the you'll be able to blend in the Brit's with the set they're very close in scale although the you'll note they're some differerance. I've played with them together and featured them in a number of photos I've posted.......Joe aka ....The Lt.

I have set 147.
Joe if you could help me out by posting some of those images it would be great.
Although hotmail compressed some of them some are still too big for TF.
I see there were 1879 sets made.
I am ashamed to confess that the set was mint until this morning. It had been sitting in storage since 2003 as I never had space to display it.
I really must build my new home.
I just hope this recession ends soon and I can sell my old home

As requested Sir Damian here's the first 5 with others to follow....The Lt.

Thank you Joe
Let' s see what else I can come up with in the next week or so.
I drove up from Durban this morning with my car loaded with sets that I had left in storage.
Got back and my resident phoned me to say all was under control and I was not needed so I thought how about a quick photoshoot using natural light.
It is quite evocative.
The neon light at night is not nearly as good.
I will try and answer Britfarmers query .

These figures look very good, how would they rate on a par with TROPHY

Now here are a few questions from someone who doesn’t own any

1. Are they all plastic
2. Were there many limited edition Zulu War sets
3. Did/do they come ready painted
4. Are they still available

Thanks for any replies

Cheers

Martyn:)

Agree completely on the natural light! Great set!

Martyn,
Lots of Conte in the diorama...plus Call to Arms painted. Your Trophy set-up wins hands-down compared to this dribble!
