Of course the FW-190A had numerous variants and indeed the A-8 was one of the best. The A-6 was pretty interesting as well and the A-3 was the version that had worked out most of the earlier reliability issues. Note I did say most, while a sweet flyer, the 190 was not the most reliable bird in the sky. I did want to just note that contrary to some popular "history" to the contrary, the A-2 was frequently made or retrofited with cooling slots to address a rather major engine issue.Good question, especially since the A-8 was by far the most produced variant

You need some space with the extra wingspan of Ta 152Although I know it is a completely different animal, it still carries the Focke-Wulf name and lines; the TA 152. Sure would like to see this done also. -- Al
In connection with the above, I had received the following photos, as I assumed others did, which I don't think I've seen here previously.
Just a quick note to say that the FW190 will not be at the London show as it looks like we will just not have it ready in time. Obviously we do not want to display a half finished or inaccurate product so have decided it can wait until next week when hopefully we will have the finished item. For all of you who asked, the canopy will be open but with no pilot. Because we went for the open canopy there will be no aerial as its very difficulty to attach this to a canopy that slides backwards and forwards!
Ken Jackson from Maison Militaire will be displaying SS001, SS002, GC003 and the 2 new BER sets (which have incidentally all sold out at our end) these were limited to 100 sets worldwide.
I will post pictures of the FW190 as soon as I get them - believe you me guys, I am just as excited at seeing the finished product as you all are so fingers crossed for next week!
Kind Regards Tom

I believe the FW190 is all done but I cannot get to the factory until end of next week. Hopefully some more pictures then and a price which will be good news!
