New Office Diorama... (1 Viewer)

Mike,

Simply wonderful, but falling asleep as I type and will wait until tomorrow to comment, but there is a figure which I cannot identify. Just outside the inner fort, near the gate and the Fraser's Highlanders. Right on the corner, where the wall turns. Seems to me = Black boots, black breeches, gold trim on hat. Can't tell much more, but I will probably toss and turn all night long now trying to figure it out.

Brilliant Mike so much to look at.

Amazing Mike, you have every release here. Think you have captured the overall area really well to depict what was happening at the time. The Forest is a worry, definite bushfire risk, never seen this much foilage in concentration before in a diorama. Looks like a labour of love in this project, JJD must value you.^&grin:salute::, Robin.

Fantastic work Mike.

Excellent dio Mike and great photography. I also like the bushes that you have lining your creek. What brand are they and where did you get them? I am looking for bushes to place along my creek and I reckon they will do the job nicely.

Wow Mike, this is very cool mate! You must be pleased with the end result. Love all the vegetation and the wee creek & bridge. Fantastic set up. I certainly would find it hard to concentrate on work with that display sitting in my office. Please keep posting more pic's when you can.

I have a quick question, who makes the cabins? I'm keen to grab one to put with a few K&C Indians I've picked up.

Cheers.

fantastic dio Mike, full of detail and countless makings. A French Indian War build-up to handle as you like. Monongahela, the abatis of Ticonderoga or the walls of Quebec could be the next settings. To everyone's enjoy, yours and ours waiting the next pictures.

Fabulous display Michael:{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}....now if only I had the room for something like that I would be able to get a boat or two....or at least the ABW train on permanent display:wink2:

All the best

Martyn:)

Impressive collection and outstanding diorama! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Mike

Now that's what I would describe as a Widescreen Hollywood Blockbuster in 60mm. A real professional construction in every detail. Kudos

Mike,

Looks fantastic! I love your attention to details. I can see all the little stories within the bigger story that you set up. I am once again inspired by your work!

That water detail looks fantastic. The fort is impressive as well. Sure it's big enough? I'm seeing a view table extensions in the future.

Tom...the bushes lining the creek are made from dried foliage...they are easy to make and very cheap...send me a PM and I will send you info on where to buy the foliage to make your own...

Desert Kiwi...the buildings are made by John Jenkin's Design...they are pretty popular and sold out...but they appear on Ebay and a lot of dealer's websites frequently...

Martyn...I'm surprised you have not added on to your house already to handle your monstrous Trophy and LL collection...

Carlo...I'll keep adding to this as John produces...but I sold all my Ticonderoga and don't think I will chase Quebec...

Ray...actually it's one of my favorite movies and was a big inspiration to collecting FIW...I actually bought the soundtrack to the movie and still enjoy it...

Paul...hahaha...it's as big as it's gonna get for several years to come...

here are some pictures of the bridge section and the British wagon train being attacked...

Great close up shots Mike. The terrain certainly supports the scene. No shortage in bits and pieces, especially foilage. There is as much cost in the surrounds as in the figures^&grin, Robin.
