Brian from reading your post the 88mm gun at $165.00 does not come with the gun Carriages is that correct
Thanks in advance
Cheers for that Brain , just had the great news that my CS king tigers should be in the post by the end of the week happy daysThe pricing isn't completely decided. But the set is totally a' la carte. The gun come with two figs and the carriages can be purchased or not as well as the SdkFz7.
We want to keep the cost down on the components and also let collectors dispense with items they don't want or need, or on the contrary add as much as they like. Our number one job is to keep items as reasonably priced as possible.
Cheers!
Brian
Brian...
When do you expect a price for the wheel bases for the guns and the add on crews??
Mitch
There really is no change in figure pricing. So add on figs are about 32.50 each and the carriages will be pretty nominal I'm thinking, 65.00 or so for the set of two.
Cheers!
Brian
Exactly what I thought when I saw this wonderful piece at an unbelieveable price point in todays market. CS is leaving EVERYONE in the dust with this type of release at large dollars less than their competitors. I don't know how CS can do it when all we hear from others makers is the big boo-hoo about increasing costs. Can someone explain how CS is keeping prices so low? I mean, I bought the KC King Tiger many months ago at $225 (now $239, I think), now I have a CS KT on the way for $179. How does CS offer such a model at a far lesser price point than the KC price from months ago, much less comparing it to the new KC price? KC makes a fabulous product but they are far behind in the "bang for your buck" catagory. JMO. -- Al
I cannot answer to the earlier CS releases that were a bit bigger than current releases. I DO have a CS Tiger I and two KC Tiger I's of recent make, and I can tell you that they match up very well in size. There is a tiny difference here or there but for all intents and purposes, they are the same size. Figures are different in style and are a tick bigger than KC and TG, but not so much that they can't be displayed together. The CS vehicles are just outstanding and I like their figure style, so at this point, CS is a very good deal. -- AlI could not agree more...I have not collected CS yet.... but have pre-ordered the King Tiger...and this 88mm gun will be on my list as well......CS is definitely offering much desired pieces at very reasonable prices...Thank you Brian......I am only a bit concerned about relative size...I have heard that CS AFV's and figures are a bit larger than 1:30 scale and may be closer to 1:28....Can Anyone shed some light on the scale without getting into scale wars....Thank you

Guys,
re my question about price and material. I want to compare apples to apples, when you buy ala carte, there is always a question about cost of parts vs whole. I want to be able to compare this model to figarti to K&C even though slightly different models. I just want to know what I am paying for. I think its a fair question and I understand that pricing is not finalized. I just am a bit more cautious before proclaiming a great buy, that's all.
Now, I will agree the KTiger pricing is pretty darn good.
I still think all manufacturers are nuts on over $30 per figure, that's just me.
TD
if you are comparing the Manufacturer's, The Figarti 88 does not come with any figures But comes with the carrier (I believe), And that costs $250. plus., The KC 88 costs $199 plus $69 for the two gun crew,X2,Plus a Gun commander for $35 For a total of $370 plus (for a crew of 6).
The CS starts out at $165, Plus lets say the 3 crew sets us back at $105. For a total of $270. plus the carrier ( for a crew of 5). So in that account, The CS $270 is a great buy. Not unless you are talking FOV 88, Then you really are talking about Apples and Oranges.
